Actress and politician Hema Malini penned a heartwarming note as she and her star husband Dharmendra completed 44 years of marital bliss on Thursday. Hema took to X and shared a video made by a fan featuring pictures of the couple.
“Our wedding anniversary today! 44 years of togetherness, two beautiful girls, lovely grandchildren surrounding us and drowning us with their love!” she wrote.
Hema added: “Our fans and their limitless adulation! What more can I ask of life? Our eternal gratitude to the Almighty for this gift of happiness. Video by a fan.”

Veteran actor Raza Murad, who has been friends with late actor Gufi Paintal, fondly remembered his life and on-screen presence. Known for playing Sakuni Mama in the epic television serial ‘Mahabharat’, Gufi Paintal passed away due to prolonged illness in Mumbai on Monday.
His body has been moved from the hospital to his home, where Raza Muard was among the first to reach and be around to help the family.
Talking to the media about his friend, Raza Murad said: “I was friends with him for 50 years. Filmmaker Rahul Ravail made the movie ‘Gunhegaar’. I was the actor in the film and Gufi was assistant director. In those days he was remembered for being Paintal Saab’s brother.” He was referring to Kanwaljeet Paintal, the popular comedian and better known of the two brothers.
Remembering his friend, Raza Murad said: “There was another movie, ‘Laila Majnu’, where he was handling the production.

Mumbai, April 12 (Ians) Veteran Bollywood actress-turned-politician ‘Dreamgirl’ Hema Malini left many Mumbaikars rubbing their eyes with disbelief when she hopped onto a Mumbai Metro train for a ride and later commuted in an auto-rickshaw.
The 74-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha MP from Mathura shared pictures and videos of her memorable journey on the public transport – the lifeline of over eight million Mumbaikars – on social media.
En route, sporting a pink shirt and creamy-white trousers with a handbag slung on her shoulder, Malini warmly smiled and interacted casually with several commuters, and even posed for selfies with her fans on the Mumbai Metro ride, and then shot her experiences during an autorickshaw commute to her home.

The team was shooting at the Buddh racing circuit in Ncr, when Dharmendra arrived at the location and the moment turned intense and how!
Talking about his excitement to watch his Grandson soon on the big screen, Dharmendra said, “I was in Delhi for some work and had heard they were shooting some racing car sequences. So, I decided to drop by and watch my grandson in action. I didn’t want to disturb them at work, so I didn’t tell anyone I was coming. No one was expecting me par jaldi hi khamoshi khushi mein badal gayi. I could see the hint of tears in Sunny’s eyes. He doesn’t say much but being his father I notice.

Sunny Deol whose recent release Singh Saab The Great opened well is already moving on to his next project. In fact the actor is set to restart his film Ghayal Returns. The project that has till date changed multiple hands when it came to direction will now be directed by Sunny himself. This will mark Sunny's return to direction after a 14 year gap; the last film he directed being Dillagi in 1999. Confirming the development, the actor's spokesperson says, "Yes Sunny will be directing the film as well as acting in it. However, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized." While the story of Ghayal Returns traces a father-daughter relationship, it will be the second part of the Rajkumar Santoshi directed 1990 film Ghayal. Interestingly, the film will also be produced under Sunny's home banner Vijeta Films.

Sunny and his brother Bobby were launched by their actor father Dharmendra with "Betaab" and "Barsaat", respectively. Both the films were made under their banner Vijayta Films. Later the He Man of the 1960s launched his nephew Abhay too with "Socha Na Tha".
"I might direct my son as well... not now at least," said Sunny, who is currently busy promoting their home production "Yamla Pagla Deewana 2", in which his son has worked as an assistant director.
