This is a fairly standard sitcom episode on both counts.
We've seen the predicament that Leonard and Penny get into here a hundred times before, but it does get a few bonus points from me for the glee in which it is presented by Galecki and Cucco. I do tire a bit of the latters seemingly endless Jennifer Aniston impression though.
The other plot isn't great, but at least does add some layers to the underdeveloped character of Raj.
On the whole, this is fine but not overly great from 'The Big Bang Theory', but it was nice to see an episode that wasn't all about Sheldon, or felt like it was all on Jim Parsons' head.
