Jimin's secret song off his debut solo album, "Face," isn't so secret anymore. In celebration of BTS's 10th anniversary Festa, Jimin filmed a live performance of his track "Letter," which only appeared on the physical edition of his hit album. While you can still only listen to the fully-produced version of the song on Jimin's physical album (so you're out of luck if you decided to pass on purchasing it), the acoustic, live performance released on June 7 is beyond beautiful, and a gift to ARMYs.
Back in March, when "Letter" was initially released, fans were surprised when they recognized Jimin's BTS bandmate Jungkook's unmistakable vocals on the track, adding trills and adlibs throughout the final minute of the song. Although Jungkook did not participate in the live performance of "Letter" for Festa, his backing vocals can be heard (albeit more softly) in the background at the end of the video.

Jimin unburdens himself from deep-rooted emotions on “Set Me Free Pt. 2,” the first single from his forthcoming debut solo album Face set for release on March 24. The song arrives alongside a music video that captures the BTS member serving as the commanding centerpiece in an elaborate choreography routine.
The song features punchy beats elevating the singer’s vocals as he moves across the screen with a mob of dancers, who all perform in unison as the room flashes in waves of light. “I wandered into a maze/ Hennessy and night/ I never stop,...

Back in June of 2022 when Grammy-nominated group BTS announced a temporary break from group activities, BTS promised solo albums from the members. And with two of the members already releasing their albums – J-hope and Rm – up next is Jimin.
The news of his first solo album, titled Face, broke on February 21, 2023. Just a few short days later on February 23rd the track list for Face was released.
The graphic revealing the track list to Face may have provided more information about the album. It states:
“Circle of Resonance
Reflection of vulnerable minds and unexposed wounds.
Face, the reflection of myself in an unfamiliar appearance Face of facing the deepest part of inner-self.”
According to Big Hit Music, “Face delves into Jimin’s story of fronting his true self and making a new leap forward as an artist. Through Face, Jimin will present his own musicality with distinct timbre and impeccable dance performance.

BTS’ main producer, Pdogg, is fond of pushing the group’s singers to the top of their range, and beyond. One of the most extreme, and impressive, examples is the howling series of beyond-falsetto notes Jin manages to reach on the track “Crystal Snow.” You’d never know it from that moment and many others, but Jin wasn’t a singer (or a dancer) at all when he first joined Big Hit Entertainment (now Hybe) as a trainee; he was studying acting instead. In the third of Rolling Stone‘s...
