The Vourdalak: "When the Marquis d’Urfé, a noble emissary of the King of France, is attacked and abandoned in the remote countryside, he finds refuge at an eerie, isolated manor. The resident family, reluctant to take him in, exhibits strange behavior as they await the imminent return of their father, Gorcha. But what begins simply as strange quickly devolves into a full fledged nightmare when Gorcha returns, seemingly no longer himself...

"You were meant to behave," and in that is the heart of the argument. It 's almost certainly a red 1993 Chrysler LeBaron, the convertible, but whatever the general motor it cannot carry the couple any further.
Enter the scooter. Fried chicken. French fries. A girl tied up in the back of a van. There was almost certainly ketchup. There will be blood.
The lines in the car park are an offer of sorts, a compact that doesn't need to be obeyed. It's the full moon. There are bargains to be struck beyond combo meals. Seize the means of escape.
Chelsea Lupkin's film is strong, not only in terms of language. Mainstream Glaswegian and American perspectives vary on the C-word but while it's indelicate it's not inapposite. She's done a fair amount of work in food TV or equivalent, and in a film with a number of striking moments the sizzle of potato.

It’s October, which means deliciously dark Halloween-themed programming is heading every TV channel and streaming platform. For Hulu, that means major premieres of festival hits like “Little Monsters,” starring Lupita Nyong’o and “Wounds,” featuring Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson, and Zazie Beetz. The streamer is also premiering thrilling fare from its Originals slate, including new seasons of its popular series “Castle Rock,” “Light as a Feather,” and “Into the Dark,” and will also highlight Halloween episodes from its immense catalog of TV sitcoms throughout the month. Most important for indie filmmakers, however, it Hulu’s annual Halloween film contest, known as the Huluween Film Fest.
For the second year, Hulu is releasing seven new horror shorts from up-and-coming indie filmmakers exclusively on its site. Collaboratively curated with the Sundance Institute, the short films include new work from Jennifer Reeder, Calvin Reeder, Chelsea Lupkin, Joshua Erkman, Meredith Alloway, Elaine Mongeon,...
