Street Fighter legend, Charlie Nash is back from the dead; but whose side is he on? Street Fighter: Resurrection, Machinima’s newest live action series, launches Tuesday, March 15th exclusively on go90. Resurrection features Christian Howard and Mike Moh reprising their Assassin's Fist roles of Ken and Ryu. Alain Moussi stars as Nash. Though the web series will focus on Nash and his fight against Shadaloo, if Nash is involved, certainly we have to get a cameo of Guile, right? Scott Adkins has long been the fan favorite to play the character and he's good friends with director Joey Ansah. We'll find out for certain if Guile appears when Resurrection premieres on March 15th on go90.

There’s a new live-action miniseries coming based on the hit video game franchise Street Fighter. It’s called Street Fighter: Resurrection, and it’s being produced by Capcom and Machinima. It is also being created by the same team that brought us Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, which gave us the backstory of iconic Street Fighter characters Ken and Ryu. The team is being led by Joey Ansah, who has worked on films such as The Bourne Ultimatum and Snow White and the Huntsman.
We’ve got a synopsis for you below along with a teaser trailer for you to watch that puts the focus on the character Nash.
Street Fighter: Resurrection reunites Assassin’s Fist’s producers, Jacqueline Quella and Mark Wooding, Director and Writer, Joey Ansah. And series originals Mike Moh (Empire) and Christian Howard (The World’s End), who will reprise their roles...

Capcom and Machinima are teaming to produce "Street Fighter: Resurrection," a live-action miniseries adaptation of the "Street Fighter" video game franchise.
The five episode series will kick off in March through Verizon's go90 app and ties into the release early next year of the highly anticipated "Street Fighter V".
The story is set ten years after the events in previous Machinima series "Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist". Mike Moh and Christian Howard are reprising their roles as Ryu and Ken respectively, and are joined by Alan Mousi in the lead role of Charlie Nash - a character who has returned from the dead in the game.
Nash is targeting legendary champions for unknown reasons and Ryu and Ken are determined to find out why. The release comes in the wake of 'Assassin's Fist' which pulled in 17 million aggregate views across its twelve episode run.
"Street Fighter V" meanwhile releases February 16th on PS4 and PC.

Back in September 2015, Machinima announced it would create exclusive video content for Verizon’s mobile video platform go90. Now, the self-described “many-2-many” network has revealed its first series for go90 will be Street Fighter: Resurrection, which will debut in March 2016.
Street Fighter: Resurrection is a sequel to Machinima’s 2014 web series Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, which was based on Capcom’s Street Fighter video game series. Assassin’s Fist managed to pull in over 17 million views total. Machinima’s five-part Resurrection mini-series will be set ten years after Assassin’s Fist, and star Alain Moussi (Suicide Squad, Pacific Rim) as iconic Street Fighter Charlie Nash. It’s unclear whether or not Resurrection is meant to serve as the previously-announced sequel to Assassin’s Fist, or if the go90 series is an all-new addition to Machinima’s Street Fighter franchise.

Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist started life as a YouTube series, but director, writer and star Joey Ansah is now releasing the online hit in a feature length cut which hits DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray steelbook on October 27th. The movie was made in association with Capcom USA and blends top notch martial arts with an authentic adaptation of the iconic Street Fighter franchise. Ansah gained recognition for his role in The Bourne Ultimatum, and as well as playing fan-favourite character Akuma in this movie, he's joined by Mike Moh as Ryu, Christian Howard as Ken and Akira Koieyama (47 Ronin) as martial arts teacher, Gouken. I recently had the chance to talk with Joey over the phone about Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist, as well as which other comic book and video games he would like to adapt and his thoughts on a faithful take on the X-Men in the near future.

The long awaited series premiere Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist, from Joey Ansah (Akuma), and Christian Howard (Ken) is finally here. Being a long time fan of the Street Fighter video game series, Ansah set out to make a live-action adaptation of the video game classic that would satisfy not only him, but fans of the series as well. To begin his quest, Ansah teamed up with Christian Howard, Owen Trevor, and Jacqueline Quella to bring to life his vision of what a live-action adaptiation of Street Fighter should be and Street Fighter: Legacy was born. With Capcom's blessing Street Fighter: Legacy (a trailer type short) was released to the public on May 6 of 2010. With it's release Ansah's short-film received critical and fan praise alike. Machinima has released the full trailer for their new web-series, Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist. Street Fighter was one on my favorite games growing up, but it never really seemed to translate very well to film. This might be the best adaptation we ever get because I seriously don't think any studio is going to attempt to make another Street Fighter movie ever again.

Fight choreographer Joey Ansah makes his directorial debut on this new live-action martial arts web series adaptation of the Capcom video game series.
The story follows the formative years of Ryu and Ken (Mike Moh, Christian Howard), the last practitioners of the ancient fighting style known as Ansatsuken (Assassin’s Fist).
Similar to the "Mortal Kombat: Legacy" web series revival, the project started life as a proof of concept short film back in 2010 (which can be seen beloW). Capcom gave the creators the go-ahead, and the series was shot this past Summer in Bulgaria.
Funimation has also scored subsequent rights and windows in many western countries including the UK, Australia, Us, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and Scandinavia.
