The match kicked off with a series of arm wringers between Bey and Ali, with Ali initially gaining the upper hand by locking in a tight headlock. The reign of terror from Blair Davenport will continue as she defeated former Nxt Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez convincingly. The tenacity and ferociousness of Davenport were evident as the British Superstar tossed Perez around the ring, but Perez did manage to counter a superplex into a crossbody. Perez continued to fight back, but her attempt to take out Davenport on the outside backfired as she was sent face-first into the steel ring steps. That spelled the beginning of the end as moments later Davenport was able to hit Perez with a pair of crushing knee strikes that ended the match.

Match #1: North American Championship – Wes Lee def. Tyler Bate The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt North American Championship is staying with Wes Lee, but not after some shenanigans involving special guest referee Mustafa Ali. Lee and Bate squared off in the spirit of competition as both Superstars have been allies to one another in recent months, but it began to turn when neither of them could trust the actions of Ali who began conducting both quick and slow counts. Bate came close on several occasions to winning the title, but Lee’s championship mettle was too great as a well-timed and well-placed Kardiak Kick ended the contest and allowed the champion to retain.

Gigi Dolin exorcised the demon that is Jacy Jayne as she defeated her tag team partner inside a Weaponized Steel Cage Match. Before the match could even begin, Jayne attacked Dolin and brutalized her on the outside before tossing her into the ring through the open door. The two former members of Toxic Attraction used a bevy of dangerous weapons including belts, chains, thorn-wrapped bats, trash cans, and even the cage itself. After Jayne set up a table, the two Superstars scaled the cage and found themselves precariously placed high above the ring. Suddenly, Dolin found her footing and launched Jayne through the...

Match #1: Shinsuke Nakamura def. The Miz The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Competing in his first Raw match since being drafted by the red brand, Shinsuke Nakamura tangled with The Miz. After settling into the match, The Miz took control, blasting Nakamura with a kick on the outside of the ring. After Nakamura tried to lock up the match with the Kinshasa, The Miz slyly evaded the maneuver, poking Nakamura in the eyes while the referee’s back was turned. The A-Lister landed the Skull-Crushing Finale on The King of Strong Style, but Nakamura wisely put his foot on the ropes. Nakamura then followed up with the Kinshasa for the victory.

Match #1: Ricochet def. Mustafa Ali The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The first round of the SmackDown World Cup on Fox Tournament continued as two of the biggest high-flyers in Mustafa Ali and Ricochet battled on the ground and in the air. Ali, already nursing injuries stemming from the beatdown he suffered at the hands of Bobby Lashley on Monday Night Raw, clearly was not at 100 percent but still took the fight to Ricochet. Top-rope offense, including a backstabber and a superplex, put Ricochet in complete control, and it continued with a Michinoku driver on the outside of the ring. A valiant Ali nearly caught Ricochet with a 450 splash, but Ricochet rolled out of the way and finished off Ali with a shooting star press.

Meanwhile, inside the ring, Anderson picked up Bálor to try to put him away. “Monday Night Raw” saw its linear ratings rise this week as the post-Vince McMahon era of WWE begins.
Monday’s show on USA Network drew an average audience of 2.3 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic, according to Nielsen figures. That represents a two-year viewership high for “Raw” and an improvement of 21 in viewership and 20 in the key demo versus last week.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque is now in charge of WWE’s creative efforts in addition to his role as executive vice president of talent relations. Monday’s show drew praise from many wrestling fans, with wrestlers like Ciampa, the three-woman team of Iyo Sky (formerly Io Shirai), Bayley, and Kai, and Mustafa Ali being prominently featured. WWE Hall of Famer Edge also appeared and called out his former stable, The Judgement Day.

Guess who’s back reviewing WWE Raw? Nerdly that’s who! Yes, we’re getting back into regularly reviewing the WWE’s flagship show going forward. Hopefully watching and enjoying and not hate-watching though! So far it’s been a little… mixed. Let’s see what’s happening this week!
Match #1: Jimmy Uso def. Montez Ford The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After The Street Profits defeated The Usos last week in a Championship Contender’s Match, Montez Ford faced off with Jimmy Uso in singles competition. Uso overcame the charismatic Ford, countering a top-rope splash from Ford by putting up his knees and getting the pinfall victory.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Money in the Bank Ladder Match Qualifier – Alexa Bliss & Liv Morgan def. Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Retribution is one of the worst factions in the last ten years. Actually, scratch that, as Retribution is one of the worst factions of all time. Now, before I tear down the group as a whole, it should be made clear that the wrestlers within the faction are all extremely talented. Dominik Dijakovic (T-Bar), Shane Thorne (Slapjack), Mercedes Martinez (Retaliation), Mia Yim (Reckoning), and Mustafa Ali have all proven their worth in either Nxt or outside of WWE. These guys and girls were simply dealt with a bad hand, and though Martinez left the group quickly, her WWE career never

After a few disappointing events from WWE, the company heads to the Middle East for the first time in over a year. Emanating from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Crown Jewel came with an absolutely stacked card, however the Saudi Arabia events often come with a fair share of controversy. And they often seem to be the times when WWE pulls some of their worst booking decisions or puts on matches that result in disaster. That said, there have been shows that have come off well (if flawed), like 2018’s Greatest Royal Rumble or Crown Jewel 2019, so could this super scaled show in 2021 dig WWE out of its major rut of late?
Yes…Yes it could!
1. The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (Kick-Off Show)
This Kick-off show match was really thrown together, as was The Hurt Business reunion, but Jimmy and Jey Uso...

Match #1: Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair def. Shayna Baszler The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Shayna Baszler set out to prove herself against Charlotte Flair after appearing to bury the hatchet with Nia Jax. The Queen of Spades gave the Raw Women’s Champion a run for her money, but further miscommunication with The Irresistible Force gave way to another Flair victory when The Queen hit Baszler with a big boot. Following the encounter, Alexa Bliss made her presence felt with a gift for Flair, a Lilly-esque doll she called “Charly.” The mind games led The Queen and Little Miss Bliss into...

Strong as ten regular men, definitel… Malcolm Tent: Cease and desist with this creative writing! I am Malcom Tent! These things you are doing are what is wrong with people! You should be put down you ignorant squelch! How dare you dare to make merry of this review? You need to write this thing as if you were still working for Disney! Welcome to this weeks review of WWE Monday Night Raw. I’m editor Phil and I’m filling in for Nathan this week, taking a look at my first episode of Raw since – probably – Wrestlemania! I’ve not heard good things about the show recently but I’m going to be as impartial as I can, after all who doesn’t want to love All the wrestling?! Let’s go…
Match #1: Drew McIntyre def. Baron Corbin The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
At the request of Jinder Mahal, the increasingly downtrodden Baron Corbin exercised the quarterly brand-to-brand invitational to come over from SmackDown and take on Drew McIntyre in an attempt to turn around his luck. The Scottish Warrior laid in a significant amount of punishment throughout the match and almost convinced Corbin he felt sorry for him. Almost was the key word, as McIntyre proceeded to nail...
