Anne Hathaway made a fun stop by David Letterman's studios in NYC yesterday afternoon in a fringed black dress. The actress, who is busy promoting the July 20 release of The Dark Knight Rises, stopped to sign a few quick autographs for fans outside before heading inside to chat with David. Anne has been spending time in her hometown of NYC lately, where the premiere of the latest Batman movie will be held next week. Despite a hectic month ahead, she has also been clocking lots of quality time with her fiancé, Adam Shulman. Anne and Adam stepped out at the debut of a new documentary about the band LCD Soundsystem on Tuesday night, and they also celebrated the Fourth of July with Anne's brother Michael Hathaway. The actress donned a hat over the pixie cut she got for her role in the recent Les Misérables as the trio walked together, and later, she swapped dresses to attend a Fourth of July backyard party with Adam. Anne is enjoying the calm before the storm in between shooting Les Mis and promoting her next project, which hits theaters in just a few short weeks. The Dark Knight Rises is out on July 20 and is expected to be one of the Summer's biggest blockbusters. Anne is on the current cover of Allure, and in the magazine she talked about some of the challenges of taking on the part of Catwoman - namely the skintight suit she had to wear for the role! We have a Battlestar Galactica veteran making an appearance of TNT’s new series, Perception, where he may put the moves on Rache Leigh Cook. Jamie Bamber, who played Lee Adama on Battlestar, will guest star as Michael Hathaway, a professor who attracts Cook’s FBI character, Kate Moretti. If I had to venture a guess, I’d say it’s Bamber’s eyes that have Cook so tempted. They’re so blue. On top of that he’s a professor, so you know he’s smart. That is unless he managed to fake his way into his field of work, however unlikely that scenario may be.
Perception stars Eric McCormack as Dr. Geoffrey Pierce, an “eccentric neurologist” as well as a university professor. He uses his knowledge of human behavior to help the FBI crack particularly complex cases. Moretti acts as his FBI handler. I’m sure many of you,...

Ellen DeGeneres' stalker has been sentenced to three years probation. Karen Grace Sjoden was given strict orders to stay away from the chat show host and her wife Portia De Rossi after pleading no contest to charges of misdemeanor trespassing on Monday, March 14 after she was found on the grounds of the couple's home in California last month.
She was ordered to check in with Judge Marsha Revel every 60 days and barred from any electronic or physical contact with Ellen, Portia and Michael Hathaway, who is an associate of Ellen's. An eyewitness said Karen, who had been kept in custody on $200,000 bail since she was arraigned in a Beverly Hills courtroom on February 14, appeared incoherent during her court appearance, during which she refused a mental health evaluation.
The source told RadarOnline.com, "Everything seemed to be going well but then [Sjoden] started rambling that, 'I sent a letter to Ellen...

Oh, brother! Or — more specifically — gay brother.
More and more celebrities are speaking openly about their gay siblings. Fantastic Four flamer Chris Evans was merely the latest, setting the blogosphere on fire earlier this month when he revealed in the latest issue of The Advocate that his look-alike brother, Scott, is gay. “They’re the funniest people I know,” Chris said of his bro and his gay friends.
But why wouldn’t lots of celebrities have gay brothers? If we’re “everywhere,” wouldn’t that include being part of a family with a famous member?
Not surprisingly, many of these same celebrities are also speaking out in favor of Glbt rights, pointing to their family members as examples of the real people involved in gay-related political debates. Many celebrities cite specific lessons they’ve learned from their queer brothers, about gay matters and other things.
