Brian Keith Gamble
American born actor Brian Keith Gamble hails originally from Sumter, South Carolina. Gamble started his acting career in the Wilmington, NC film market prior to heading west. After a brief stint living and working in the Albuquerque, NM, film scene, Gamble landed in Los Angeles, CA.
From coast to coast, Gamble has built a reputation for creating intense, unpredictable, edgy characters in film, television and theater. Gamble has appeared in such independent films as First Snow (Mark Fergus 2006), and The Keeper (Keoni Waxman 2010). His television credits include In Plane Sight (USA), Wild Fire (ABC Family), The Perfect Daughter (Lifetime), and Alex Hyde-White's poignant documentary biopic Three Days of Hamlet. Most recently Gamble performed the role of Benjamin Coffin III in The Hudson Theatres spring 2013 Hollywood production of RENT directed by Kristin Boule for the 2Cent Theater Company.
In director Christian Filippella's feature film debut, Gamble performs the leading role as the character Barabba in the hilarious, satirical crime comedy, Silver Case (Breaking Glass Pictures 2013). Gamble shares the spotlight in this wonderfully directed indie ensemble with Hollywood legends such as Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts and Academy Award nominee Seymour Cassel. For his contribution to Silver Case, Gamble has been awarded the following honors:
* The Indie 2012 Award of Excellence: Leading Actor;
* The Accolade 2012 Award of Merit: Leading Actor;
* The 2012 Global music Award of Merit: Songwriting;
* The 2012 Global Music Award of Merit: Lyrics.
In addition to living and working as an actor, now based in Hollywood, Gamble maintains a civic minded perspective by staying active in the community. He uses his PhD. in physics (Clemson University, 2002) by currently teaching physics at Los Angeles Southwest College in Inglewood, Ca. Brian has also taught at Harbor College in Wilmington, Ca and Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, Ca.
