Disenchantment (2018)
Can't rate objectively.
I find myself wanting to fast forward through all the King Zog audio. There's a chance my reaction to it is some psychological quirk, like not being able to deal with the sound of someone eating. I just wish it wasn't so....raw.
Maybe I'm crazy, but I felt the same way about the volume, and volume, of Rick's burping from early season one of Rick and Morty.
Westworld: The Passenger (2018)
Maybe it's not you, maybe it's me.
Because after seeing how many people are completely within the thrall of season 2, and the finale, I'm starting to question whether or not I'm real.
When you're spending more money per episode than any other tv show in history, and this is the product you're cranking out, and this many people love it.....I guess then, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe my criticism is misplaced. Maybe this is the pinnacle of television. Maybe this is TV 3.0. Or maybe you're all brainwashed.
Like trying to figure out what this show means anymore......maybe the answer is, who knows?
Love You More (2017)
Amazon drops another ball...
How a company with all the money in the world, literally, could pass on picking this pilot up to series is beyond me. Courageous, hilarious, well cast, and with a lead in Bridget Everett who could carry an entire season on her own, Amazon has yet again proven cheap and incompetent with their decision making..
I've yet to see a comedy weave such sensitive subject matter in a more humanized, proud way than this one pilot episode did. I shouldn't have to mention again that Bridget Everett did an amazing job, and deserved to have a full season. Anyone that watched this knows that. Jeff Bezos and his billionaire friends apparently didn't.
The Office: Heavy Competition (2009)
Outro clip.
The final 15 seconds of this episode with the cheese ball contest is hilarious. Probably the hardest I've laughed at anything in this entire series.
Taken as whole, this is one of the better episodes of s5.
