Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi (2018)
Movie for people who have a colorful friends circle
Shocked to see some comments rating it as a failure. When you are watching a movie, the first thing you need to check is if it's a movie that you really want to watch. As the director has previously made a family entertainer like Pellichoopulu, everyone is comparing it to it. This movie isn't a family entertainer. Instead, it connects more to the city youth who have a circle of close friends with whom you share lifelong memories. Whole movie I felt like I was chilling out with my friends. The conversations were so casual and natural. Everyone has given a wonderful performance. Props to the director for coming up with such a fresh story for his second movie. Luckily, he didn't suffer from what other directors with first movie hits suffer from. This movie isn't Pellichoopulu. But, that doesn't mean you ignore this. Such movies hardly get made. Telugu industry has a dearth of such well made buddy comedy movies. Lets encourage them when they get made.
Shingeki no Kyojin: Sole Salvation (2021)
Nothing short of breath taking
Just when you think AOT has shown you all the cards it holds, it comes up with a completely new set of cards. I never thought I would empathize with what Zeke does especially after what he did to Erwin and his troop of soldiers. But, here we are. Isayama is a true genius for coming up with a story something like this. How can a fantasy story of human eating monsters be so close to human behaviour throughout known history. Take a bow. It would be great if this anime gets a live action version that stays true to the origin.
Dororo: The Story of the Moriko Song, Part 1 (2019)
Dark and gritty
There is just some other wordly charm to this excellent anime right from the first episode. Every episode just takes it up a notch from the previous one. Just amazing to realise that the protagonist, uses his vocal cords in the 5th episode, that too to scream in agony. Hope this series continues this trend of offering something at every turn. The last scene of the episode was quite shocking and sad to say the least.
