I am huge fan of Stargate and was very excited when SGU was announced. This version is more logical in some ways: first of all - aliens don't speak in English and look like Earth people (yet). Rick Carlile is great actor and this is also good thing of the show. But overall it is boring: 99% of the time the "action" is in some dark room and dialogs are boring too... I want to watch a Stargate where people go to another planets through gate! Not a Mexican melodrama where everybody cries... I am watching it right now, actually I am listening, because it is not necessary to watch. The action is in dark room and nothing happens (surprise!). I am wondering how could they cancel Jericho and launch this thing?

Excellent Lithuanian movie

Another "must see" work from Maris Martinsons. Original title "Nereikalingi Zmones" (eng. Needless People). I like Maris Martinsons' style when plot crosses in many ways. All actors impressed me, in many cases the main negative thing in Lithuanian movies is unreal/bad acting, but not this time. It was very interesting to see singer Andrius Mamontovas (The Priest) as actor and in my opinion he did very good. Also I think this is the best role of Kostas Smoriginas (Alcoholic) of all time, maybe he was really drunk during movie? I am happy that Lithuanian cinema is not dead and this is the new beginning. By the way - "Nereikalingi Zmones" holds a new record as best start in Lithuania cinemas history already.

Just watched this movie on original Russian language. Well first 5minutes is interesting, five different persons live their lives and they meet on elevator... They are going to first floor but elevator seems to be broken and it continue to move down. Building has only 30 stories but elevator continue to move about 20 minutes... Then passengers realize that something wrong... Then nothing interesting, logical or realistic happens.. Passengers doing stupid things, starting to talk about crazy things... It seems that everyone is suffering from claustrophobia and paranoia... Tell me do you want to watch crazy sick people for 88 minutes? And near the finish of this movie a woman and a psychotic maniac even make love. 3 other passengers are already dead! I never saw so awful video, it is sick... I thought it wold be something like Cube or Phone Booth but it was total crap.

Did you saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre, See No Evil, Wrong Turn, Hills have eyes, Wolf Creek, House of 1000 Corpses, 1001 maniacs? If yes - you wont see anything NEW. Again some teenagers going into trip and of course their car is broken... YES - it happens in the woods, in isolated place, and YES - they're haunted by some ugly freak... I rated it 4, but if I would never saw those movies that i mention in the beginning, i would give 6. I think that Texas Chainsaw producers should do something with that... almost all movies i watched past 2 years are similar. Aren't laws protect the story? I got tired of this... I guess within 3 months I will see another "edited" copy of same story.
