Living in the west of Ireland it's great to see an Irish slant on American Pickers. The kind of items the lads are looking at would be far more familiar to me than those picked by their American counterparts. Both of the lads come across as natural and outgoing. At one point, in an antique shop in Charlestown, the host Ian Dowling tries on a fur coat declaring that he looked like his granny but, to be honest, he was the spit of Marc Bolan!
The only thing I don't understand is, why were they using subtitles every time John, the antique dealer in Charlestown, spoke?
Apart from that, an enjoyable and interesting show. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
