Thunder on the Mountain (2010)
Stories told without words.
My favorite part of this edition to Mantis and Moon's "The Thunder Series" is that similar themes are used as in "Thunder on the Farm", for instance, the summer passes in one day, and man is encroaching on his environment, and vice versa.
I just find it to be captivating. As a result of a lot of re-working and re-shooting, as well as creative brainstorming with Steven D. Cox, the storyline flows as it does in "Thunder on the Farm, and completely without words.
Chuy Delossantos set up the guided assistance in Costa Rica.
The DVCPRO HD takes it up a notch from the previous formats.
5.1 Surround as well.
Exotic places from Colombia to Florida, all with similar attributes are featured.
Two Guys on Drums provide the percussion, which is great in 5.1
Carlos Platon wrote the acoustic theme.
I think it is equal to Thunder on The Mountain, thanks to the fantastic Mantis and Moon team.
