The Guilty (2021)

Unpleasantly Surprised

I went into this movie thinking it would be ok but hoped to be pleasantly surprised. I was unpleasantly surprised at how awful it is. 30min or so in- I told my husband "this is keeping my interest but I'm annoyed the entire movie is inside a 911 call center so far." 1hr later we were in the same place. We had 20min left but I couldn't take anymore so we turned it off. Not sure how it ends but I don't care. Don't waste your time.

It kept us entertained which is why I have it 4 stars, but i kept waiting for something to happen...but it never did. A letdown. I'd pick something else to watch.

I never read the books but stumbled upon After on Netflix & was VERY intrigued. I am kind of obsessed with the movie. There is something about Hardin that is mysterious & sexy. I could not wait for this movie. Unfortunately in many ways - it wasn't as good as After. I feel Hardin was too vulnerable & not his mysterious, sexy self. The positive is that I felt this storyline was much more realistic than the one in After & it felt more like 2020. Still ... worth watching!

Great love movie! While I don't really even know much about Miley Cyrus, I struggled with this film because of her as the main character. I was hoping she'd grow on me but she didn't. Still a good movie!

I hadn't read the book and didn't know the story before stumbling across this on Netflix. I reluctantly hit play thinking I was going to regret it but wow.... this movie sucked me in and it left me wanting more. Can't wait for the sequel!!

I'm a sucker for rom-coms & like 85% of them. I saw this one had good reviews & an amazing cast of big name celebrities. It was as cheesy as you can imagine.

I get suckered into every rom com there is - thinking I won't like it yet ending up loving it. This one... not so much. I almost turned it off within the first 20min because it was so boring & slow. It got better but then worse. Not worth your time, in my opinion, as it's nothing special.

The main actress was obnoxious. Whether it's her acting her character, it was a bit much. There are plenty of other great Christmas movies to watch that I wouldn't waste your time on this one.

Wes Brown was the only bright spot to this movie. Kellie Pickler is an awful actress. She sang the sang song (silent night) 5x, and didn't have a great storyline. I suggest finding something else.
