Love it !
3 October 2007
It was a fluke that I seen a preview for this show, I was watching the only show I tune into the CW for and they showed a preview for it. I was happy I tuned in! First off, Tyler Labine (Sock} is the main reason I decided to check out the first episode and I was really happy with what I seen. It is such a great change to see a new show on television that has nothing to do with "reality" or superheroes {even though I like one or two of them} It is refreshing to watch a show where the idea hasn't been done to death, I think the originality is one of the major things I like about this show. There isn't much flaw to the show other than the network, The CW. I really hope this show becomes a hit because I would hate to see it canceled. This is a real diamond among a sea of coal.

words cannot describe
29 October 2006
There are no words that come to mind when trying to describe how horrible this movie is. I rented it ONLY because it was Halloween weekend and I was renting a bunch of horror movies. This movie in particular I had a free rental coupon for (thank goodness, I wouldn't be happy if I had paid $5.00 to rent this)I don't expect Oscar performances from horror movies even though I am a fan, but this movie had some bad acting! EVERY SINGLE actor/actress was horrific in their ability to be even the slightest bit convincing that he/she was scared, happy, funny, sad, terrified and even when these people were being killed their acting seemed to get worse. The story seemed like it would be alright to watch, but it was weak and boring. Save yourself time, don't bother with this movie.

Shockingly Good
8 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I really wasn't expecting this movie to be good....at all. Shockingly, it was really good. It is not your typical cheesy one-liner slasher flick. It had a story, and I found myself wondering, "Who could it be?" when normally in slasher movies I know who the killer(s) are before the first 40 minutes are up. I didn't see this movie in theaters, I rented the "unrated" DVD. The special features are OK, one of the features where they change "The Game", was terrible and the editor/directer made the right choice on replacing it. This movie had another impressive tidbit, it actually ended! What I mean by that is how in most slasher films they put this part in the end of the movie that lets you know the killer(s) aren't dead. In Cry_Wolf the movie does have a ending, a good one and that was refreshing. And Jon Bon Jovi wasn't bad either, I really expected him to be terrible at acting (I know he has been in other movies, but this is the first one I have seen him in)I wasn't expecting him to play the type of role he did either, the teacher who sleeps with his students. When I read on the back of the DVD that he was in the cast I was expecting him to be a cop, or some small role, Not a BIG part of the movie. This is one of my favorite "Who done it" movies.

Boring
1 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
If you have trouble sleeping pop this DVD in and in 20 minutes tops you will be snoozing. The acting is great, but it lacks ANYTHING to keep you interested. There is NO excitement, the sound quality isn't the greatest, for most of the movie the actors are mumbling and the music is something more suitable for ambiance CD's than it was for a movie like this. The story had potential and the casting was good, but the director really fudged up this movie. About 40 minutes into the movie it felt like it had been 2 hours. In the scene where Mike was getting a lashing it feels like that scene was 15 minutes, the music for that part wasn't the best choice and I don't understand what emotion we (the viewers) were supposed be feeling. Like I said, it was just a boring movie, Guy Pierce's character mumbles some sort of poem or something when he rides his horse and it adds nothing to the movie, it is just annoying having to try to understand what he is saying and volume control it, which happens a lot in this film.
