Brilliant script

In 1987, many micro revolutions happened around the world with the gender equality effort. This honest and moving tale of a woman's courage to hide her defeats and put downs including her closest family member goes beyond the theme of Saudi society or women's equality cause. It's the story of all women who have tried to do the right thing by their family, husband and children.

Brilliant scriptwriting. Also, the camaraderie and humor between genders is unique to Arab society and if to the westerners Arab women seem oppressed, you should know that they are also admired, respected and feared because strength, beauty and intelligence are respected more than in our western modern world. So please don't be quick to judge in these reviews.

Looking forward to Season 2-3-4 and 5. Shukran.

Beautiful photography

How far will pain take you when you are a teenager and your world falls apart? Most low here ratings/raters here have to get in touch with their adolescent years, when everything is so raw and adults can be so selfish.

Thank you for the fantastic cast. Hard to stop watching. We are trapped in the house while the world is trying to get in and get answers. Very well directed. Everything is blue and white and very painful like ice inside when your world falls apart. Tremendous final. Bravo.

Pimp (2018)

Intense, brilliant, terrifying too

What a tough plot to pull off, a woman pimping! Fast paced, intense of human neediness and that drive to succeed. It's easy to guess the tight loom between cast and crew, and lots of hard work. In other words, it's a film classic. Breathtaking, beautiful photography, intelligent directing, savvy sound track, agile editing and out of this world performances. Oh, those performances..
