Pet Heroes (2010–2012)

Was hoping for a lot more.

This could have been a great dog program. The host it too worried about posing and dramatic pauses in his speech. The "vet" only stated the obvious and added nothing at all except an unwelcome break in the real story. and she obviously was more worried about her hair and lip gloss. The stories were great, heartwarming, and the real hero dogs are amazing. The reenactment actors need a lot of work. Really disappointed and won't watch any more episodes. I struggled through one.

Survival movie at its best

Really enjoyed this movie. Lack of dialogue made it more intense, and the acting was amazing. Every time you thought you knew where it was going, the story changed. Overcoming all the odds is an understatement. Recommend this for anyone.

The BBQ (2018)

Aussie BBQ at its best

This was a perfect family movie. A little bit of everything: comedy, tragedy, education, food, and a happy ending. Shane Jacobsen is amazing and someone we can all relate to. Manu with a mullett? Yes, girls, still sexy, but a bad boy in this one. Lots of fun for everyone, a real feel good movie. It might not be to everyone's taste, but I don't understand the low ratings. I thought it was great.

A Dog's Way Home (2019)

Best Dog movie in a long time

I loved everything about this movie except that I cried in more than a few parts. The dog was amazing, should win an oscar herself. The story line was more realistic than many other dog movies, and I appreciated that a lot. Really a great movie for all age groups, and worth a watch.

Oddball (I) (2015)

This movie is heart warming, funny, thoughtful, and educational. This is how the movies were when I was growing up. They are informative about endangered species or situations, but entertaining at the same time. Based on a true story, I think they did a wonderful job. The storyline was great, most of the acting was perfect, and had a thoughtful message about several different things running through the movie. Very much advise anyone to watch this. You won't be disappointed.

Mystery Road (2018– )

Great Australian Drama

I watched the movie Mystery Road, loved it. Not so much the second movie. The TV series was outstanding. Cast well, which is unusual these days. The plot was riveting, with mini dramas going on in the background which really added to the whole show. I would recommend this to anyone who likes drama, mystery, or even adventure type shows. I hope they have another season or ten for us all to enjoy.
