I actually really like the idea behind Adam Ruins Everything. It's not the first time we've seen a show that is designed to clear up misconceptions and highlight the truth in common talking points, but it's the type of show we need every few decades. Information is always evolving.
What ruins this show however, is Adam himself. If someone dropped a polymerization Yu-Gi-Oh card on all of the worst people on Reddit, Adam Conover would be the product. He is a smug, arrogant, irritating nerd. The way he talks, the way he carries himself; the personality he projects on this show can be described as nothing short of uncomfortable, unlikable, and downright icky.
If there was an identical show made, but without the cocky dweeb taking the helm, I would watch it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately though, Adam had to go and ruin his own show by making it borderline unwatchable.

Jungle Movie sees our favorite characters leaving the city on a field trip to the jungle where Arnold seeks out his parents, picking up where the series left off. For the most part, this story is pretty far fetched when compared to the somewhat grounded plot lines we're used to with the show. Seeing these characters that we grew up with receive some closure on open plot lines and relationships that developed over the course of the series is reason enough to make this movie worth it. My only complaints, aside from the far fetched story is that we didn't get to see more of PS 118's many side characters.
Still, this movie is more than worth the watch, if anything for the destination more so than the journey that gets us there.
