Lethal Ninja (1991 Video)
"Lethal Ninja"
8 January 2007
The version I bought is titled "Lethal Ninja". It is about a city where a gang is running wild, with support from the mob. The police chief does not want to go to Chinatown so the mayor has no one else to turn to... until he receives a card that only says "for hire" and has a phone number on it. After receiving around three cards, the mayor decides to call. He meets a man named J.D. Makay, a ninja. Makay offers to rid the city of the gang, for a price. The story is not too bad. I have seen worse. The fight scenes are not too over the top, which is a good thing. The acting is OK, and the choreography is decent. The movie was worth the price I paid for it. (I found it in the 2 for $5 bin at Wal mart.)

not really a movie
15 September 2006
Its not really a movie. It is just clips from various kung fu movies from the 70's, put together like one big advertisement trying to get the viewer to look for the films that are being shown. Neat idea though. They do try to present a type of story, explaining how Bruce Lee is one of the reasons that martial arts movies were so big in the seventies.

After the introduction, the song "kung fu fighting plays and there is a picture of Bruce, then the clips of the movies begin. A must, for those who like seeing clips of various movies. I however, even found it to be quite entertaining to see good fight sequences without having to go through the plot. I even discovered movies I haven't seen before.

booooo
21 February 2006
I saw this movie in a bin at the local department store. I remember thinking "wow a Jackie Chan movie for 4.99" Little did I know that Jackie only has a small role,(His face was all over the DVD case). When I got home I watched the movie and it made no sense at all. It was supposed to take place During world war two and there was a guy who looked like Abe Lincoln and the allied forces were talking about sending 007 in (There was a sean connery photo) to rescue the generals and they mentioned Snake Plisskin and even Rocky Balboa. That was weird enough. But it got worse when in another scene, cars obviosly from the 70s came driving up with a gang in them. I gave up and turned the DVD player off. I never watched the movie since. These are just my views though...

Catman in lethal track
19 February 2006
Well this is one movie that I stumbled upon. A friend of mine sold me a bunch of dvds and Catman was one of them. The plot seems to jump from one point to another. First we have a guy named Sam who gets scratched by a radioactive cat, thus giving him superhuman powers. Next the plot jumps to a girl who looks like a boy who drives a dirtbike and has a shotgun. Than, the story goes to a group of Asian rebels at war with a group criminals led by a guy with an eyepatch. Sam or Catman, however goes into battle with a priest named Cheever. I found it overall to be an amusing effort to throw a movie together with a small budget. I would recommend it to those who like strange, cheap budget movies. But thats just my views.
