Severance (2022– )

Mind bending dystopia

Incredible show. If you like dystopian themed books for ex; '1984', 'Brave New World' or 'Tender Is The Flesh', this will be right up your alley. This is better than A Handmaid's Tale. Bravo Apple+ and thank you!

The Mandalorian (2019– )

Second season is soiled

The first season was epic. The second season I would no longer call 'Star Wars', it's commercialised family entertainment - something like 'Lost In Space'. I recall physically cringing away from the TV screen in the first episode of the second season. This could have been a dream show, what a shame.

Another German gem

Before I watched this, I had just finished watching 'Dark', which was an excellent series. This is much in the same vein as 'Dark', it's a very atmospherical murder mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A quick warning though, it is quite violent and has some content that could be a trigger for some. All in all, a great series that I binged in a couple of days.

In This Corner (and Other Corners) of the World (2016)

Breathtaking and brilliant

I have seen many animated Japanese films, and this is up there with the best. It is a little bit different to Hayao Miyazaki's style, which is quite refreshing to be honest. I have to say that this is a masterpiece of animated film making.

Adventure Time (2010–2018)

Made for stoners!

I don't know which I like best when baked, Rick and Morty, or Adventure Time. They are both fantastic shows! Both these shows are defs made for stoners, I just loose myself in these gems! Hahahah, I'm baked and watching Adventure Time right now in fact! SO good!

Messiah (2020)

Bravo Netflix!

Brilliant! I haven't seen a show like this for a long time. I watched this in one day it was so good. I can't find a flaw to this, it is deeply provoking and very emotional. Many times throughout the show I was just speechless. Netflix has stepped up their game with this one, a must watch!

Hereditary (2018)

Mediocre at best

I can't fathom how people could say that this is good horror. Good horror is the first three 'Hellraiser' films, or The Japanese films 'Dark Water' and 'Juon', or the French film 'Martyrs' for example. I almost fell asleep numerous times while watching this snore fest. How this has been rated higher than 'The Witch' is a complete mystery. I was not the least bit scared at any time during this film. The ending was absolutely pathetic.
