Kaizoku oujo: The Curtain Rises on the Climax (2021)
Enchanting
This episode was superb. The musical score just was on another level. The animation as usual was wonderful, but the scenery it showed was just exquisite. The ruins, treasure, books, statues, all of it. The scene with Fena dancing will be among some of the greatest I have watched. By far one of my favorite scenes of this show. Overall the episode gave off a wonderful vibe but also a lot of suspense. I don't think we can ask for much more with this one so the 10 is a given.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Aibô (2021)
The Tale to Kurama the Gallant: A remarkable end to 938 Episodes
RIP Kurama
What can I say. We were introduced to the show with the attack by the 9 tailed fox on October 3, 2002, and here were are, 938 episodes and exactly 19 years and 1 day later as I write this. A superbly developed character and a gallant end that equals Jiraiya Sensei. We went from hatred to love, from rampage to sacrifice, from loneliness to partnership. I believe the Kurama/Naruto relationship to be one the best stories ever written. I know a lot of animes these days and in the past have similar stories but these two are just so special, just so perfectly written that they are the ideal. The episode was fantastically animated, an emotional rollercoaster, an action packed shocker, and most of all, a really tragic sayonara that brought all to tears. The fandom I am sure felt this episode to their cores. Truly deserving of a 10. Boruto, Naruto, Sasuke, Kurama, Momoshiki, Isshiki, and Kawaki, were all phenomanal. This arguably could be one of the best, if not the best episode in the entire franchise. The journey was long and a lot happened with Kurama but I know everyone watching this who hadn't already read the manga have a lot on their mind with this one and so I will end with this, character deaths in Naruto have always been well done with one exception being Neji, in that they really drive character growth. I cannot wait to see how this insane episode develops Naruo, Boruto, Kawaki, and Sasuke going forward. 11/10.
Troy: Fall of a City (2018)
I don't understand the negative ratings?????!!
I liked this. Why should I go into this thinking it should be godly and then hop onto imdb to give it a rating of 1 when it isn't? Why would I defile a shows rating by rating it based on just Ep 1. I don't mind if some things were not historically correct, the show was consistent, the characters aims were understood, and the show had it's moments. I thought it was a cool series for Troy. I give it a 9 because I genuinely enjoyed it, but I can't believe the people who believe this deserves a 1 just because it didn't go to their liking or they thought characters were "wooden". When characters are consistent, they may seem wooden, duh. Overall, I thought acting was average throughout, and pretty good at the important parts. The messages were conveyed, the action and story was suffice. I have nothing to complain about. I certainly enjoyed the diversity of the cast and the peoples in the show as well.
