If you can look past certain aspects of the production like the sometimes shakey camera you will appreciate the acting and the story. The actor who plays the detective is one talented actor and did amazing (that alone was worth watching). Important thing was the story held well right to the very end. Watch it, you weren't be disappointed.

Think again, this is one of those films you have to watch to really understand how the academia world works. A very accurate portrayal played out perfectly thanks to screen veteran William Sadler.
