The Lincoln Lawyer (2022– )

Very entertaining

I've seen a lot of the low ratings and I just don't get it.

I found this to be very well written, acted and enthralling.

The characters are strong and charming. With the story twists and arcs guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I've just binge-watched all 20 episodes and thoroughly enjoyed both seasons.

I can't wait for season three.

If you enjoyed the movie of the same name, know that this series is so much better and a lot more entertaining.

I recommend everyone give it a shot. Don't expect it to be a replica of the movie or book; there are enough character differences to make them all look like new (and delightful) personalities.

The Mandalorian (2019– )

Season 1&2 fantastic; Season 3, not so good

The adventures of Mando and Grogu in seasons 1&2 was amazing. Definitely binge-worthy; I couldn't wait to watch each episode.

I assumed season 3 would be the same, but it was a total let-down. There wasn't enough focus on Mando and Grogu - too much on outside characters. And the addition of Bo-Katan as a main character ruined the Mando-Grogu dynamic; she should have been left as a recurring character only.

Also, speaking of recurring characters, there was no more Cara in season 3, which was very disappointing. Her strength and spirit really added to the storylines of the episodes she was in.

I hope things improve for season 4.

Superb Aussie comedy!

Loved this series when it first aired and I'm loving watching it again on Stan! It's a shame only one season was made as it's such a light-hearted and enjoyable who-done-it. Shaun Micallef and Kat Stewart are brilliant, as always.

Whoever was in charge of continuity should never be allowed to work in the industry again. One minute the driver has a cap on, the next he didn't, the next he did - totally distracting. So distracting that I couldn't continue watching; and I thought I could watch any Ryan Reynolds movie.

This new lighthearted show is thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining. Lucy Lawless, Bernard Curry and newcomer Ebony Vagulans are superb and their characters work very well together. I look forward to many more episodes.

This is a very entertaining show. The characters are great with a lot of chemistry, and the storylines are interesting. A show I look forward to watching every week.

Disappointing

Was enjoying the first episode until they had the lead character hook-up with someone half his age, as if to prove that he's going through the midlife crisis he's accused of. Very tacky and disappointing.
