Lycoris Recoil (2022)

Let's get some coffee drinking and terminating some bad guys

8.8/10 Cute girls, agents, guns. Where is the reason for me to not watch it? This idea came to my mind when I found the information about this series.

Now I tell you, it's even more terrific than I expected.

The theme could be a serious, dark story, but the writers and director are so brilliant, making it so funny (even though there were still some serious scenes). Even no those terrorists, and cruel killings, I bet that every audience could accept watching the girls' daily normal lives.

Because every character is so charming, even including the villains. Chisato is no doubt the most lovely one, she's also one of my favorite female anime protagonists. Takina's journey from a manic assassin with cold blood to a humanized girl who knows how to love people (even take partners more important than missions), is beautiful. She also made the unforgettable "Sakana", which is her best work for this anime.

I didn't predict this ending. From ep. 11 to 12, I thought that some terrible, heartbreaking twist would come in ep.13 (maybe one of the main characters dies, or Chisato turns into the darkness like Sasuke somehow, which was also the ending I wanted to watch). Not knowing unfortunately or fortunately, everyone is safe in the end, LycoReco even expands their business blueprint to Hawai. I'm glad to see the girls and Mika are happy, but it's also a pity that there was no pain in the ending of Lycoris Recoil. Anyway, you still have to watch it, definitely.

K-On! (2009–2010)

Be chill, let's drink tea and play music!

(For S1 and S2) I can't befriend anyone who doesn't feel anything when they realize the journey with these four girls is gonna end.

This series reminded me of my dream that establishing (or joining) a rock band, and how amazing rock music is. The plot......almost doesn't exist, but that's its advantage, which is you can watch it in an extremely relaxing, comfortable condition. If you like animes describing the daily lives of a group of people, you must be high for K-On. Not only that, but you can also feel touched seeing these four's growth and the spirit of music. Last but not least, the girls are so freaking cute. Be there forever! Honey Tea Time!!

Wayne (2019)

Crazier than The end of the fxxking world

(for S1, and hopefully, there will be an S2) An amazing, adventurous series that people like to compare with The end of the fxxking world. To me, even though these two have something in common, I wouldn't like to choose a better one between them, because I love both of them. Wayne is no doubt crazier, more violent, and fuller of fury. TEOTFW is a series which filled with blood and violence too, but apparently, has an ineffably graceful style.

Peaky Blinders (2013–2022)

For S1

What a gang of charming, elegant rogues. Cillian Murphy gave us his exceptional acting, this is almost like a character-exploring one for Tommy Shelby. Every character has unique traits, which make us hard to forget them. The plot includes romance, the war between gangs, the battle of wits between the gangsters and the police, and the problem of family and business, and all of them did an excellent job of catching our eyeballs. I would say that I'm very excited about watching S2.

Barry (2018–2023)

For S3 - The actual tragedy

I have watched Barry's story for almost four years since I accidentally found it online, and I need to say this is the most worthy experience of show-watching.

Barry Berkman keeps switching his identity between a hitman who's tired of his life and an ambitious actor, but in this season, you can see the line was faded away, Barry becomes a character who is more and more complicated. Sometimes, it seems like he wants to be a good person, but in some scenes, he could kill everyone who might endanger his "normal" life without any hesitation. Sometimes, I don't even want him to have a good ending, because of the terrible things he did, but there are still some scenes I would feel sorry about what he encounters(ex. The end of this season).

Not only Barry, most characters in this season encounter tragedy or tangled situations, including Mr. Cousineau, Sally, and even Hank. I really hope the S4 that is still in making can give us a fantastic ending to the story of this sad hitman and his friends(BTW, I want Barry to die in the end, that would be good ethically and for the whole series ).

No Guns Life (2019– )

An interesting sci-fi story. Maybe one day ,we can watch an live-action version by Hollywood industry.
