This is one of the best movies that I have seen in a very long time. It is definitely a must-see for any couples that want to honor and show their spouses the true meaning of love. Its very hard to write enough information here without spoiling the movie and I certainly do not want to do that. I cannot wait for the movie to be available on DVD. Kirk Cameron does a wonderful job in this movie as well as the lovely young actress who portrays his wife. This is the kind of movie that really stirs your heart and makes you stop and think about your own behaviors and how you treat others. I give it my highest recommendation. I was also impressed to learn that Kirk Cameron donated his entire salary for the movie to his charity, Camp Firefly. I'm not only impressed with Kirk for his acting ability but also that he "walks the walk".

Like a previous commenter, I too have looked and looked for copies of this mini-series and have even written to Disney asking for them to re-lease the series. I loved these movies when they were first aired and I taped them, but my tapes have disintegrated from use. I think this is one of the best things that Disney has ever done and I would love to have them. If you ever get the opportunity to watch them.... do! They are fantastic. The musical score is really great as well... The music is hauntingly beautiful. The actors are so well cast that it has become hard to see them in anything else and not remember their Treasure Island days. Enjoy!
