I gave this a 9 because he was a terrible comedian. It was painful to watch any of his routines. As for the show, I didn't have high expectations at first. The initial episodes were cringe-worthy, yet at the same time, very intriguing. The acting was always top-notch, but it was the characters themselves that made the series stand out. I'm glad I gave it a second chance because this show is completely different from anything else out there. Perhaps it's because it's based on real events, or maybe because it highlights two scenarios that are very relevant to us. These two scenarios are having feelings for someone we're not interested in and feeling like we're backed into a corner professionally and need to say yes in order to get what we want.

When it comes to storytelling, a well-constructed plot is essential to capturing the audience's attention and keeping them engaged. In this regard, the story in question is solidly constructed, with a framework that holds up well. However, while the overall structure may be sound, the way in which the individual scenes are presented can be confusing and disjointed. It's as if the story is missing some crucial connective tissue that would make it all make sense.
Despite these flaws, there is still a lot of potential in the story. With some reworking and fine-tuning, it could become a truly compelling and engaging work of art. Unfortunately, as it stands, it falls short of its promise.

I was so excited to watch this show because of Gina.. but then I realise that she is the same person as Jane and worse she is also a writer with the name starts also with J. Bad, Bad, Bad. The movie is not that bad. But for me that I love Jane the virgin. looks like the character and drama.. so it was so disappointing..
