Unless you're of the anti-war persuasion, most of this movie is annoying. Although some of the battlefield scenes were well done, the point of this movie is pretty much a waste of time. I wonder if Clint wanted the US bond effort to fail so that Germany and Japan had won. Then what Clint? Duh!
I was also very concerned with the native American soldier not just being stereotyped by some movie character but by his own actions. Not to mention, I don't believe I saw one African American in the entire film.
I wonder if liberal Clint even knew that FDR was a democrat as well. This is obviously just another film made in an effort to bash Bush and the war effort in Iraq. Keep it up Clint. There's already soldiers thinking if they don't like what the military orders them to do, they can refuse. Perhaps, when we really need them one day, they'll all go on strike.
