A questionable movie about airing out the creators kinks
6 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The Rodfellows/Jungle Forest Gang/TDC Triplicity is an overall weird series and it has gone from some rip off of an already established web series, to what seemingly is the creators way to be public about what he...personally likes, to say the least.

I have no idea how the script was written, if there even was a script to begin with, but none of it makes any sense logically, both in-universe and in real life. The antagonists just blatantly say "we're the bad guys", no other reason than to have an antagonist. They do honestly the most petty things, and the protagonists actually retaliate on said actions. By this point, wouldn't they have bothered to call the police? These antagonists seemingly get away with a lot of things without involvement of any authorities.

I have no idea how much lotion was used to finish this movie, but I am sure it was at least 5 bottles.

The Basement Jaxx Heart Logo Thing is More Appealing Than This
22 January 2023
And at least they don't rage bait people to talk about them. It tries to be all the other "shocking" "edgy" shows, but fails to understand why those other ones work. South Park isn't just "LOL EDGY THING XDDDD", it generally is deliberately done hyperbolically, and usually the kid characters are the ones who are more grounded to earth than the adults.

That, or they do it from a satirical point of view to push their opinions on a certain cultural topic. This show has more in common with modern Family Guy than anything else, and even that is miles more preferable. Such a shame really. Oh well..

Family Guy: Road to the North Pole (2010)

My Personal Favorite From the Show
3 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the few Family Guy episodes that take you on a hell of a ride, and I wish the show had more of these kinds of episodes. I really enjoy all of its themes. All the songs are spot on, and really add onto the mood. Too bad it didn't win the Emmy it was nominated for.

A lot of people find the dark themes when they get into the second half with the North Pole nauseating and disturbing, but I genuinely fell in love with that part. It's portrayal of a heavy consumerism factory where everyone are mutants and in low morale, on top of a gloomy atmosphere, really packs a punch with me. Usually when Family Guy does shock or disturbing imagery, it's meant as a joke, which doesn't always sit well with me. But here, it's set as the mood, and it really is poignant.

Another small complaint is how the episode had scenes just randomly kind of happen out of the blue to progress the plot. Like Stewie blowing up the truck, or Brian randomly wanting a sandwich. But other than that, It's still a must watch in my opinion.
