Tokyo Ghoul (2014)
Amazing Characters and Plot!
This is by far my favorite show of all time! The characters and plot are amazingly unique, something I've never seen before and I hope, I'll never see again. Something so unique should stay unique. I love how they make characters relatable. In a situation like Kaneki's, being turned into a ghoul should have tremendous effects on a person's state of mind. There is no doubt that, if it were me, I would not live very long, as I would go to the Ghoul Investigators immediately and have them eliminate me. The idea of man-eating creatures who look exactly like men intrigue me. In the manga (if you haven't read the manga, this is not a spoiler, so you can continue reading), a lot more was explained about the way ghouls operate and live. I would've loved to see more of an explanation in the anime, but I know that it would be very boring and take up a lot of time. I had skipped over a lot of the information, honestly, because it was terribly boring and I lost interest quickly. I disliked the ending of the anime, it didn't make any sense to me and I know, a lot of other people. The anime ended with Kaneki going to Aogiri Tree, the group that TORTURED him and turned his hair a beautiful white that looks bad ass (I liked him so much better with white hair). I could not wrap my head around such a STUPID thing to add to the anime. Aogiri Tree most definitely should've been the LAST place he'd want to go after being tortured and turned practically insane. Also, it makes no sense that Aogiri would even be open to the idea that Kaneki would join them. As it was, they should've hated him for killing Jason (I don't know his actual name, since I didn't care enough to memorize it), and tried to kill him instead of allowing him into the group!

Hard to stomach
I can't say I hated this show. It was very hard for me to stop watching after I'd started, except specific points when I was too disgusted with Makoto to continue. I had a hard time dealing with all of the drama between all of the characters. I couldn't get myself to believe that girls would be so stupid as to be so blinded by "love" that they'd be okay with a guy cheating on them over and over again. My favorite part of the anime was the ending, contrary to popular belief. I hope that if I'm ever in such a situation (hopefully never in that situation) I won't end up killing the guy like Sekai or chop his head off like Katsura and hug it on a yacht like a crazy person. I did, however, feel relief when he was killed, Sekai finally standing up for herself somewhat after being cheated on for so long and Makoto hinting for her to have an abortion. I hated that Sekai died, she was my favorite character, even though she was terribly stupid and fell in love with a guy who already had a girlfriend. And the way she died was brutal, even though she lied about being pregnant did not give Katsura an obligation to cut her stomach open. If she was not lying then she would've just killed, not only my favorite character but a little baby as well.
