The Pogmentary (2022)
Not very Poggers
I'm sure Jeff Bezos sleepy eye opened up when he saw how abysmal this documentary is.
Pogba can't stop talking about Pogba being Pogba and I understand it's a documentary about Pogba but shouldn't you have more expert analysis on Pogba instead of just asking what Pogba thinks of Pogba?
If you think I said Pogba too much, just wait until you watch this ridiculous documentary about him.
Neo Yokio (2017)
A young boy with demon-exorcising abilities has to deal with a series of non-jovial matters that make for an almost unbearable failure of an anime
Most Netflix subscribers are aware that as soon as the wonderful yet overbearing "NETFLIX" banner appears on screen, especially at the helm of a new anime series; one must throw caution to the wind. Rightly so.
Kaz Kaan is a preppy, borderline snobby leading character who endures the trials and tribulations of his Aunts demands, his emotions towards an ex, a rivalry between other bachelors in the city and his demon-hunting ability. However, these constraints fail in comparison to the most taxing of all of his worries; branding the most luxurious and appropriate designer garments and accessories at all times.
I honestly thought this was a parody. 2-3 Episodes in; you start to get the gist of exactly what sort of pretentious garbage and poorly executed script-writing this shambles of an anime presents itself to be. No need to worry about character development as none of the characters offer any sort of conscientiousness or palatable personality traits.
The premise of the series should follow Kaz Kaan and his demonic- exorcism endeavors however it shortly becomes known that this is nothing more than a pompous and uninteresting journey of Louis Vuitton and Gucci references.
The only "good" that can be attributed to Neo Yokio is the star- studded cast but even that isn't anywhere close to a redeemable quality. Jaden Smith's nonchalant voice acting largely sets the tone for a boring, emotionless and audibly unbearable series of events that thankfully have yet to surpass 6 episodes.
I would rate this anime 1 star but I actually managed to watch this trash til the end.
