Spoiler free Review.
7 December 2023
My daughter left the nest and returned an S-Rank Adventure Spoiler, free, Review.

Now I got to start off this review by saying I actually really love the premise of this anime. It seems to do episodes dedicated to 2 groups of people at once at the start and gradually starts exploring the main cast a bit to where these people become more and more likeable.

I also love how It shows a lot of "older" adventures who can still kick ass even better then the newer Generation. It really does justice to old retired Veterans in this Series. Something I think anime these days does not do well. It's a Unique Aspect I think most people will actually be happy to see.

The other thing I want to point out is there is very little fan service with this show. What is also quite nicer what you might find odd at first glance. That me tell you that cover picture does not do this anime Justice.

Now the only thing I would point out as a con, is the anime's does a bit slowish character back stories reveals along the lines of a dungeons and dragons campaign. So at the start you're kind of wondering who these "supporting" characters are as you get very little info on them. Then the writers seems to give you bit and Pieces of these "supporting" characters what Gradually drags you in. This could be a hit or miss for some, however as I am currently all caught up (episode 13) I do not find this a problem right now.

The other thing too is fight scenes are not long at all. Maybe about 3 Minute long? They are good but nothing along the lines of big actions shows like Naruto or bleach. What could he a lot down for some. I tend like very little battle as a norm however, at times, I wish some were made longer in this series to see the skills of all who are involved a bit more closely as a purely inquisitive look at the characters.

Anyways, that's my review. Thanks for reading this.

A tearful animation that hits harder then the game.
7 August 2023
Tales of Symphonia the animation is a diamond in the rough and much different form other shows of it's nature. Where the game version fails in comparison, this anime brings more to the table. From the rework of its characters to its music it plays in the background, it truly is a wonderful show to watch.

The animation starts out by trying to humanized all its characters. Letting each and ever one of them let out "all" their emotions to adds even more depths to already bone chilling moments. People like Shena, Persia, and regal, and even collect, of all people, all have their stories redone. Then to keep going with the humanization progress, they adding scenes that you wish were in the game here to the anime that worked perfectly. Furthermore, You're in for a treat if you thought Persia and Regals story in the game was good. This anime does them justice including Colettes story.

The last point I want to point out is the music this anime portrays in it is quite good. It's both bone chillingly sad or even happy at times. It's terrifyingly good as I found my self having to find its playlist online to relisten to them all again. Then finally All anime's openings but the first song and every ending song was also truly great as well.

Conclusion: the animation is better than the game in my opinion. I love the songs and the characters here. Where I found the game lacking the animation delivered. I only wish the first opening song of season one was different and it had English dubbed. But the subbed was really well done too! After all, I had to re-watch this show a second time after my first time from the begging as it's was that good.
