Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Harm (2007)
Politics and entertainment do not mix.
I found the interrogation/torture methods described in this episode to pale in comparison with the 4000+ American men, women and children murdered on 9/11. And they seem fairly benign when considered in light of the untold terrorist attacks thwarted by these tactics. It's unfortunate that the producers and writers put their personal views ahead of national security. That being said, I'm confused as to why this case was investigated by the SVU unit. Perhaps just an opportunity to proselytize? When you mix politics with entertainment you run the risk of alienating almost half the potential audience. Two stars for the always skillful Elizabeth McGovern.
Emergency!: Women (1972)
Irritating
I agree, the rather angry lady really gets on my nerves. She's as misandrist as she accuses Johnny of being misogynist. And having Johnny go out with her is a non sequiter.
Emergency!: Fuzz Lady (1972)
Trigger
During that scene all I could think was that Johnny needed to get his finger off that trigger!
