Weird mashup of genres
12 January 2024
Whatever this is, it all becomes quite confusing because of all the genres that are mixed together. Is it a historical drama? A documentary? A docu-drama? And when is it fiction and when is it fact? And if it is fact why is the main character doing the narration? All this mixed with original footage makes it all rather confusing.

Although it is great to get an insight of the period of Anker Jørgensen's time as prime minister of Denmark, the docudramafiction is also hampered by the poor dressing up of the characters. Anker's hair looks rather silly and other actors are clearly wearing wigs. On top of that, the acting is sometime over the top, most notably Ole Lemmeke portraying Erhardt Jakobsen.

You get a feeling that this was a missed chance to make a good drama about one of the most interesting times in Danish politics, but instead it all comes across as if the director wanted to show off how many genres you could actually cram into 90 minutes of television.

The end of Marvel?
14 March 2023
This movie was one of the most expensive movies ever, and the amount of CGI-effects and actor A-listers will never save this movie. The plot is thin, the humorous parts aren't funny, and the script is poorly written. You can't help but feel a bit sorry for all those actors who are meant to create a good result out of this. Even kids are now brought in to fight which makes it all even more cringeworthy.

Talk of superhero fatigue is well within reach here, and Marvel (and Disney) seriously need to up their game if they still want people in general to care. We've seen the characters appear in countless movies and series. We've had sequels and prequels and everything in between. And enough might be enough now.

Daft humour and poor plot
18 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
If you like watching a kid being beaten to death by a capitalist toy factory owner while listening to Anders Matthesen doing all the voices in a movie that is basically a very poor sequel to "Terkel i knibe" - then this one is for you. If you have serious problems with the fact that this movie condone violence, bullying, alcoholism, suicide and under age drinking this is not for you. Matthesen at his best (or worst).

Worst film ever?
18 April 2018
It's a sci-fi, but the effects, costumes and characters are terribly made and poorly animated. It's (supposed to be) humorous, but it is not funny at all. Of all the sci-fis I have seen this is just a complete mish-mash of poor story lines and really bad effects. On top of that, the movie takes forever to get going. Also, it seems that the director has tried to take a bit of every scene from every dystopic sci-fi ever made and mix it to into a new film, but the truth is that the characters comes across as flat and and in-credible. Stay away from this!
