Waiting (rather impatiently:) for more of this lovely show! Fun, thoughtful, and just plain good entertainment. Do wish Phryne's character didn't equate being a modern, empowered woman with being sexually loose (an ironic sense of what it means to be empowered in my mind - and frankly the same problem I have with distracting from good plots in other works like James Bond), but otherwise, it's a great show. Fabulous costumes and well-developed characters. The interaction of them all is thoroughly enjoyable. Very much hope for a 4th run! And with more than 8 episodes! ;)

Super cute and clean murder mystery

Yes it's a bit on the predictable side but the acting is good and stories and put together well. I am grateful for the family-friendly nature of the show - hope they make more episodes! The costuming and sets are very well done and the leads are enjoyable and winsome.

I love everything about this series... except the conclusion. I sympathize with the main character, but it is not only particularly sad but also not completely believable that she'd leave her husband in such a way- which would also be leaving her children. Adultery ruined the whole plot line because the parallels that were beautifully wrought throughout the series are destroyed and the supposed strength of character that was at her core was undermined.
