I cannot begin to describe how accurate Zac's portrayal of Kevin is. I knew the brothers in the early 80's. This is a heart wrenching account that delivers every high and low of their lives.

The performances are nuanced, with an unexpected depth. This is not a feel good movie. The ending is actually the beginning and that is beautiful. Lily James is stupendous and mesmerizing as Pam, and I simply cannot express my awe of Zac's performance. He deserves an Oscar.

Just know that this story is as close to a documentary as it can possibly be. It was beautiful seeing the actual footage from various match ups. Thank you for making this.

The Marvels (2023)

Poignant and delightful

One of the most beautiful Marvel movies to date. Like a parfait, the layers of expression, emotion, and experience made this movie thoroughly enjoyable. Brie is a brilliant actress who leads with the fullest commitment to strength and duty. Iman is the future and she delivers on the promises made on TV. Teyonah gives an astounding performance, filled with a bold breadth of subtle emotions.

This had all the elements of a great Marvel movie. Complex, intriguing storyline. Well-developed characters with intertwined stories. Plucky comic relief.

Yes, it was comprised of all these and more as well. The depths of human frailty and failure and the hope and passion of redemption.

I absolutely loved this film and look forward to seeing this story develop and expand.
