This is not just a movie, it is a milestone in Punjabi cinema
6 September 2023
As the headline states, this is not just a movie it is a milestone in Punjabi cinema.

Movies like 'Jee aaya nu' and 'Asa nu maan watna da' was the previous milestone which revived the Punjabi movie industry, on similar lines 'Mastaney' is a movie that proves that the next (a way more mature) phase of Punjabi movie industry is here where in addition to the box office success (which is very important) a very important history lesson can also be conveyed on the big screen.

Without revealing anything about the movie itself, there are scenes that will give you a teary eye but will also give you goosebumps on other occasions.

This is a MUST watch for not just the Punjabi community but for everyone as this is a very important chapter of the history that everyone should see.

Capt Manjinder Singh Bhinder
22 August 2023
Capt Manjinder Singh Bhinder is the hero who saved lives of around 150 people and gave up his own life including his wife's and 4 yr old son in the Uphaar cinema fire and there is no reference throughout the show of his bravery.

Missing such a pivotal piece of the story just doesn't make any sense at all. Just imagine the pain the family would have again gone through when they would have expected Manjinder's name to be part of the show one way or the other only to be left disappointed as this series completely ignored his sacrifice.

Bollywood is content with showing fake Santa banta characters portraying Sikhs as jokers but when it comes to showing true life brave hearts then they just go silent, exactly what this series did.

This is a good movie
19 April 2023
Russel Crowe was amazing in the role of a father and this movie didn't had any dull moments at all. Horror movies of old will keep you waiting for 25-30 mins to show a glimpse of the devil for couple of mins and will again go back into the 'chit-chat' zone but this was a fresh breath of air as every few mins you anticipate something to happen and then it does happen.

It is not better the conjuring series which I personally really like but it was well above and beyond your 'regular' horror movies.

This movie was able to satisfy my appetite for a good well acted horror movie with the right amount of scares. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Do not miss!

This is one of the best Punjabi movies of all time and the best one that Neeru Bajwa has done.

Till now I think Neeru Bajwa was just looking for a movie script in which she gets an opportunity to show her acting skills and this was it. This is by far her best performance in any movie.

Satinder Sartaj's lyrics/singing even in movie were top notch and complimented the movie really well.

After a long time there's a Punjabi movie that has the right mix of humour, very skilled acting and good music/songs with a strong message at the end.

Go watch it at a theatre near you with your families and you won't be disappointed.

Garbage!
6 December 2022
After watching the best Punjabi movie ever made in 'The legend of Maula Jatt' I had the unfortunate experience of watching one of the worst in 'Snowman' with in a couple of months time.

There's a song in the movie which goes by 'eh ki ho reha hai' and me and my wife were literally looking at each other and thinking the same about the movie.

The best part was that it was 2hrs long and not 2:30 or 3:00hrs or else this movie might have become the first Punjabi movie where we would have left the cinema mid way.

Not even a talented actor like Rana Ranbir could save it.

Punjabi audience is ready to accept movies made on different concepts other than the comedy movies but Punjabi cinema need talented people to produce/direct the same as well.

Watch it for Prince Kanwaljit Singh. You won't regret it.

One of the absolute best performances seen in a Punjabi movie.
