What a rockin' roller coaster ride!! MUST SEE!!
18 April 2024
Epic soundtrack that keeps you pumped and wanting the ride to never end! The movie starts intense and keeps you on the edge of your seat until you see the credits. It has a great story and incredible acting on the part of all of the characters. It has a slick edge to the characters and the music. If you like suspense movies, you have to see this film! Cinematography is amazing as you hover over both Hollywood and Texas. The backdrop for the action and drama is truly incredible! The lead actor, Richard Blake, is one of my favorite actors and he knocked it out of the park as the star role. There's great comic relief in between to round out a really great movie!

A movie to fall in love with for those that have fallen in love with movie
27 July 2023
Such an incredible story of family and tradition and the appreciate for the craft of movies. It's a celebration of the creativity and cultural fixtures like the Laemmle theater and the passing down of a passion for independent and foreign films and classics. Raphael Sbarge found a gem in this documentary and it rekindles the inner passion and love for true creativity and this family that dedicated generations to their theaters. At a time where streaming services have all but stopped many people from going to the theater, this movie documents the life of a movie and a movie theater and the impact it has on a family as well as a community. Truly worth the watch and it reminds you of what theaters can mean to the movie experience that a TV or tablet will never do. Fabulous experience to watch!

Raw, real and beautifully shot
27 February 2021
At a time where movies are so predictable, this movie breaks that barrier with this amazing continuous shot with a split screen. Your eyes can't stay off the screen because it's so gripping and poignant. Sarah Booth brings an emotional intensity that is so raw it's beautiful (but also painful) because she makes you feel every moment and every word she says. What a refreshing take on filming with a very real message that doesn't placate to the audience but just lays out a real and authentic story.

Great fun, beautiful love story and a beautiful message!
22 November 2020
More than ever we need stories like this movie! It has everything you could want in a movie, especially for the holidays. There's a lot of campy fun moments, tender parent and child moments and such a beautiful love story! The message of finding your self worth is especially amazing for women and girls. It's a movie that the whole family can watch together and laugh and be moved and celebrate the holidays together. I definitely recommend this movie for anyone, even if you're not necessarily a Christmas movie buff 😉
