Second-Hand (2005)
Acceptable
It is a story of a girl being raped by an influent person. This is not the best Romanian movie ever, but it has some good parts. The whole story is very credible, and many dialogs look very realistic. The bad guy (Mihai Calin) has many hesitations inside, but outside, when he acts in the real life, he looks like a very confident person. The victim, Alexandra Dinu, cannot denounce the whole business to police because she cannot dishonor her family. She is dealing with a very hard situation and, indeed, there is nobody to give her an effective help. Even if she did not act like a very professional actress, I think it was a good start. The general atmosphere of their entourage is also pretty-well sketched, and, if you like Romanian movies a little, you could try this one in you spare time.
