Honey West (1965–1966)
7/10
Honey West TV series
28 June 2006
Honey West/Anne Francis was certainly my favorite back then (on TV, second was Diana Rigg - in the movies, I liked Raquel Welch).

Honey had an attitude that Donna Reed & Doris Day did not have. For a kid in the 60's, she was something different & special.

My folks let me watch because they thought I liked the cat - duh... I had a crush on Anne Francis... (I was 15).

And the ocelot's full name was Bruce Bite-A-Bit.

I don't remember much else. Maybe some studio would do a re-make with a current star as Honey (sorry, Anne, but you are in your 70's now, and still very good looking, but you're just not convincing as a karate-chopping PI any more - maybe you could be the new Honey's "office manager" or something... that way, we could still enjoy your screen-presence).

Cow Belles (2006 TV Movie)
7/10
Cow Belles is worth watching with your kids, so they can learn something about life.
27 March 2006
Being a Disney film, the outcome is predictable, but Walt Disney always wanted to turn out "wholesome" family entertainment. He said that he would never produce any movie which you would be embarrassed to watch with your children in the room.

Cow Belles, as the IMDb plot summary indicates, is about 2 spoiled rich girls, who have absolutely NO concept about how working people live their lives and manage to survive.

When their Dad makes them go to work in the company business, to repay someone for a major problem they caused, they learn a lot about "the real world".

It actually reminds me a little of Paris Hilton & Nicole Ritchie on "Simple Life", except the 2 girls in the movie actually LEARN something, where Paris & Nicole don't seem to learn anything - they just get grossed out & can't wait to return to their pampered lifestyles.

Tough Luck (2003)
8/10
You never know how a double-cross will turn out...
3 March 2006
I like Armand Assante & my cable company's summary sounded interesting, so I watched it, twice already, and probably will again.

The early part is difficult to follow, but later it clears up. I believe the screenwriter did a good job of tying up the loose ends.

Some of the acting is unconvincing, but maybe that's because I was always expecting some kind of double-cross. In that case, the poor acting would be the insincerity of the characters interacting with each other, so it fits very well.

The important theme is the carnival owner (Assante) is laundering money for a local casino & his snake-charmer wife (Dagmara Dominczyk) wants to steal it. She complains to "Archie" (Reedus) how terrible her life is, and how he could help her get out of it.

There are 3 or 4 plot twists (which is probably the reason for all of those loose ends), and just when you think you have solved the mystery, something else will happen.

My 8/10 score is mostly for the plot.

I won't say any more - I don't like spoilers, so I don't want to be one, but I believe this film is worth your time.
