Blue Bloods: Town Without Pity (2016)

Great episode "Town Without Pity" but I have to wonder if the research team bothered to check on the money found in the dead man's hoarding stash. Giving the money to the lady for the support of her and her kids was wrong. There is an interest held by the insurers who paid off the bank's loss before the bank went bankrupt. Any monies kept by the former guard as ill-gotten-gains of a crime would rightfully belong to the bank's insurer as a subrogated interest in having paid the loss under the insurance policy. Other than that, just another excellent episode of Tom Selleck and cast which my wife and I have come to expect of this show. I have to wonder if there's going to be any further installments of the Jesse Stone TV movies? Anything with Tom is welcome in our home...

Luther (2010–2019)

What a shame it didn't last...

My wife and I did the marathon watching thing... hooked. What a shame the BBC did not promote the show, make more episodes per season to find an audience or renew it. We loved it! Sorry to see DS Justin Ripley killed, glad Luther & Alice walked off the bridge together. What was it about Alice that she was a menacing presence who grew on your psyche until you came to hope she would save the day for John Luther? Elba was simply wonderful in his role as was "Alice". Well, on to finding another great Netflix series although we have 6-8 picked out on our "List" to watch, notably "The Killing" and "Downtown Abbey". We did watch "The Guardian" but a little worn down with Nick's furtive character, always looking over his shoulder. Luther should have earned a little more loyalty and support from the BBC but apparently couldn't do it. Again, a shame.
