The Black Phone (2021)

This movie is awful but society is even worse

I don't understand how this movie has 7...what is wrong with people. How can you possibly like or enjoy this movie..

There are so many bad things in it...acting from kids is annoying.. acting from all other actors is just bad.. except Ethan Hawke. No explanations whatsover: why does the girl has this power when dreaming, what is the meaning of the black phone, why the grabber doesn't do anything to the boy even after he escapes the house, he is supposed to be a psycho who kills kids,how the f...k can a rope go through a carpet in that position...I can't even describe how bad ending is, rarely have I seen a villain so childish as the grabber in an ending...child ghosts that have silly lines, no horror at all when they appear..it sometimes feel as it's a silly comedy but in a sad way... and I could go on with so many bad things.

I feel sorry for Ethan Hawke for playing in this horrible movie that not only it's not a horror, but it's just a piece of garbage. People accept and are satisfied with movies such as this one that are full of plot holes, cliches, no plot twists whatsoever and are full of stupid moments.. I think this is far worse than this movie.

Justice League (2017)

Worst DC movie

This is the worst DC movie yet. Batman vs Superman was good compared to this one. This is not Justice League, just a few superheroes that have no chemistry between them,are underdeveloped and use their powers only a few times (if you can call them powers...),jokes that aren't funny, a weak Batman, flawed CGI, one of the weakest villain in a superhero movie (if not the weakest) and a plot that is pure garbage. The reviews were bad so I had low expectations, but it's worst than I thought it will be. I have no more words to describe how hollow this movie is. It really is a shame what Justice League has done for DC universe and if the other movies in this saga will be as bad as this one, I would rather prefer them not to exist at all.

Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

It's not like in the trailer...

I really think that this was one of the worst years for Marvel. First Guardians of the Galaxy 2, then Spider Man Homecoming and now Thor:Ragnarok. The movie is enjoyable and has some good laughs. And I think that it's somehow better that the other two movies. However, the trailer looked like this movie will be epic. It was far from that. The plot was underdeveloped and it just doesn't justify the need for this movie, at least for me. It's like they run out of ideas, the story is just so weak...there's really nothing special to it. And you just can't take it seriously because there are too many jokes.Some of them are funny, but some aren't at all or are out of context. For example, at one point, there's this rock golem creature, that it's not from earth,that makes a joke for rock, paper, scissors. How the hell would he know that? You never fear that something bad might happen to a main character, you know for sure that it will end well for them. Also, Loki was a real threat in the previous movies. Now, it just seemed too friendly with everyone. It's like he was a totally different person. And that brings me to one of the worst aspects of this movie...Hera. It is another Marvel villain that could have been incredible. Instead, it has so much power but for nothing...She is just boring because you sense no threat coming from her. So yes, the trailer was way too good for this movie. I had high expectations but I was so disappointed. I think that this movie doesn't bring something new to the Marvel universe, and without it there wouldn't be much difference.

Atomic Blonde (2017)

This is not John Wick

I had high expectations of this movie. Maybe that is why I am somehow disappointed of it. John Wick 2 for me is a masterpiece and a movie that will be remembered for a long time. My mistake that is I thought Atomic Blonde will be kind of the same. But it wasn't. It's not a bad movie at all. In fact, it has a decent story and some good action parts. And I really like Charlize Theron, it is perfect for her role (though I liked her a lot more in Mad Max). The problem is that the whole espionage story doesn't get too serious. Maybe that is the point, but for me it tried to be a modern espionage movie that just doesn't know what wants to be at times. And the action moments were way too few, it's not much difference from what I saw in the trailer. So yes, maybe it's just me, but I'm disappointed of it and very sad because of that.

Dunkirk (2017)

Incredible movie

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It's incredible how much passion was put into it - perfect acting, amazing soundtrack, immersive story and dramatic moments that are recreated through a top notch cinematography. It's a movie that will be remembered for many years and another masterpiece from Cristopher Nolan. And maybe it's just me, but I got that feeling of Inception all over again.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Boring

Am I the only one that did not enjoyed this movie? There's not much to say about it because there's not much that happens throughout the whole movie. There are a few good moments but those are not enough to make up for the underdeveloped story, shallow characters (especially the villain and side characters), action sequences that do not last very much and aren't even that special, jokes that aren't too funny (I think I've smiled once or two times). And the worst thing is that I'm very disappointed of Spider-Man. I liked Tom Holland a lot in Civil War and I was certain that it will be perfect for this role. Unfortunately, it wasn't at all. And it pains me to say that it was a boring movie

Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

I don't even know where to begin. Everything about this movie is horrible.Really, there's not even one thing that is at least OK. Story is garbage and makes no sense, not to mention the many flaws that is has. Dialogues are...let's say that the movie would have been better without them. Jokes..I'm certain that even a 5 years kid would be funnier than these shitty jokes that only make the movie even worse. I am really sorry about Antony Hopkins but probably he was given a bag of money to act in this crap and say those lame jokes. And Mark Wahlberg...I really believe that even I could have delivered a better performance. It's really just a sad sad movie and it's a challenge to watch it. I was just so bored...it was painful, pure torture. Please do not watch this monstrosity.

Wonder Woman (2017)

Still not there yet...

Just to set something straight. Wonder Woman is way better than either Batman v Superman or Suicide Squad. It has what the others are missing, which is a "heart". Also, it's a funny movie with Chris Pine acting at his best. And no doubt, Gal Gadot seems to be the perfect choice for Wonder Woman. Still...This movie suffers from the same reason as the other two movies, which is action and villains...It's too much CGI and a lot of times it is too obvious, it just ruins many of the action sequences. This goes for the final battle as well. It's just worse, the main villain does not represent a danger in any way. It just floats in the air and that's all...wtf... It really is too bad because this could have been a very good movie...Instead it's a movie with great characters, fun,a great soundtrack, but broken by the action sequences and villains which are just so bad...It's really a shame

The Mummy (2017)

I did not have high expectations from this movie. Especially after reading the reviews which made it look like a bad movie. But I was surprised, I really enjoyed it and honestly I don't understand why it has these bad reviews. OK, so it's not a masterpiece or one of those movie that raise the bar. But it's not bad either, it actually is pretty good. I liked the characters, the action sequences, the atmosphere and even the story with its twists. And Tom Cruise was really into his character. The villains were also great and dangerous. So I really recommend this movie. If you don't have high expectations, you just might be surprised too.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)

One of the worst films

Plain and simple. This is one of the worst films I've ever seen. Maybe the expectations were too high, but I've rarely been so disappointed by a Marvel movie. As a comedy, this was so and so. It had some good jokes at times. As a superhero movie,action movie - it was just crap.Nothing happens for more than one hour and when it does it's just CGI. Characters do not show any superpowers, they are just for making jokes, there are no real fights or good action sequences. Not to mention the story is terrible. I really don't understand why everyone was so impressed by this movie. It's like anything that Marvel throws at us is amazing, when clearly we should have higher standards....
