Good Night (II) (2023)

A Delightful Family Drama

It's definitely one of the best movies of 2023. A simple story, brilliant acting, real-life lovable character design, and decent music made it worth watching with your family.

The lead actress just nailed her role. As usual, Manikandan did a fantastic job as a middle-class man. All the supporting actors played their roles very neatly. The movie is just like watching your neighbor's house through a lens. Relatable characters and a compelling story are additional pluses to the movie.

Tamil cinema is elevated only by movies of this kind. Don't miss it. It has a lot of moments to connect with you personally and make you reminisce and feel nostalgic.

This is how a movie should be made. It is perfect in each and every aspect of filmmaking. Beginning with characterization, story, camera, acting, music, cinematography, dialogues, and comedy, everything is top notch, and the director didn't even waste a single frame.

You will literally fall in love with these characters. It has a lot of nostalgic sequences that will give you goosebumps.

If you wish to watch a film that depicts Tamil culture in its 100% original form, please do watch this film at least once in your life. Especially, every Tamilian should watch it without missing.

If the movie had been released in the USA, it would have won at least five Oscars.

Coffee with Kadhal (2022)

Sundar. C should stop directing films. It's really a weird movie. There's no solid story, bad acting, and ambiguous characterizations.

Unwanted songs and love scenes are injected throughout the movie as fillers. They don't have solid content, so they filled the movie with useless scenes.

There are three lead actors and actresses. But no one has justified their roles. I didn't expect this crap from a brilliant director.

You either update yourself before making a film or get retired. They still think the audience is stupid. Please come out of your safe zones and make decent films in the future.

It is the only one movie that we can celebrate for years and seriously it won't happen again. The film is beautifully crafted from start to end. Dear Comrade (2019)

One of the finest films of the year. I heard some negative reviews before watching this movie but watched it with no expectations but surprisingly movie was very good. The movie moves in a slow pace but the slow is needed to get the audience involved into the story. It is a pure family and love drama. Dear Comrade is a love based story intensive movie and it is very well written and executed. Everybody acted very well. Overall, It is a must watch film. You will never be disappointed even in a single frame.

It is common that selavaragavan movies are lately understood by the audience. as usual NGK will also be considered as the best movie after few years. you will enjoy the movie, if you think that you have an active brain. LOL. overall a very good political movie by our legend selvaragavan.

We don't know if someone will direct such films in future. 100% original script with detailed work. we don't need directors like James Cameron or Christopher Nolan to elevate Tamil Cinema. We just need a film which can project our cultures and lifestyle as best as possible. A fantastic gangster movie from a legendary director Selva sir. The film was recognized very late by the audience. However, I'm happy that at least people are celebrating the movie after 10 years. Every tamil movie fan should watch this raw gangster movie and admire how brilliant directors we have in our tamil cinema.

If you are expecting tamil cinema to reach its highest limits, watch this movie and you will definitely find the tamil industry already reached beyond its limits. It is a pure and raw form of tamil film. I don't think anyone can cross this limits in future except Thiyagraja. perfect screenplay and script work. he deserves more than a national award for making such an exotdinary film. He shifted the whole industry to the next level with his unique and raw style. Completely satisfied.

I watched this movie exactly after an year of release. The movie has an excellent screenplay. There are more than enough unexpected scenes. We don't even need those twists since the screenplay itself is very engaging. overall very good movie.
