A Royal Christmas Crush (2023)
Probably should of waited for a better script
I think the Actors did what they could with the script, but overall it was an over done, over played Royal movie. Unfortunately, the main character's didn't seem to have good chemistry. I can't tell if it was the bad writing or just miscasting. They're all really good Actors, they need better, more realistic parts to play. Maybe, the Actors had a hard time believing the storyline as much as we did and that's why the movie seemed "flat."
I watch Hallmark to escape, I personally would rather not have any "agenda" in the movies. I like that she was an Architect, however, I feel her character took up too much storyline trying to get her point across.
Honestly, if she had said what she wanted to build once, that was enough, but the writers focused too much on it and it was forced and overkill.
Hallmark has had some good movies lately with great Actors and beautiful locations. Scotland, Ireland and other parts of Europe are beautiful and my favorite to watch on Hallmark.
Unfortunately, this movie was a one time movie for me. It was even hard for me to get through all of it, but i forced myself too. I hate that, because, I believe if you give these actors a good script, it will be a amazing, memorable movie!
Sweet Mountain Christmas (2019)
Loved this movie! A list Actors with great chemistry
Absolutely, loved this movie!
I adored Megan Hilty when she portrayed Patsy Cline in Patsy and Loretta. At first, I didn't know it was the same person until I looked her up. She's an amazing actress with a incredible voice. Great chemistry between her and Marcus. This is the first movie I've seen Marcus play where he looked more natural. It shows he CAN play the main lead and very well. Especially, with a great script like this one.
Overall, I'd love to see more Hallmark movies like this where the plot has more life and not always the same plot with different actors.
Please bring back Megan for more Hallmark movies and allow Marcus to have more range in his movies and not always the jilted boyfriend.
Marcus showed he can play the main lead and with the right co star like Megan, this movie will cross over to not just the hallmark demographic.
I also love when Hallmark cast Teryl, Lindsay Wagner and her ex husband Lee Majors, Robbie Benson, along with and all the 70's, 80's and 90's.
Every Time a Bell Rings (2021)
What's happen with Hallmark?
Hallmark was better when it was lighthearted, stress free and didn't care about PC. I'm finding the new Hallmark movies too over the top. Everything has changed in the last 2 years, why does Hallmark have to go 180 degrees too. Good actors, but story line lost me at the dinner table.
Christmas Tree Lane (2020)
Predictable plot.
I really wanted to like this movie. However, the plot was very predictable. As much money as Hallmark makes from its movies, why not hire better writers? Let's make a hallmark movie thats new and original.
I love Andrew, but the chemistry between him and Alicia were non existent. It could be, because I'm not a fan of Alicia's acting. Please stop making these predictable, over used plots and hire better writers and make a hallmark movie that we would love to watch every year and become a Christmas classic.
Journey Back to Christmas (2016)
One of my favorite Hallmark movies!
Everything about this movie was spot on!
I've actually watched this movie many times and I've told my friends to watch it as well. If you want a feel good movie that will give you that warm fuzzy feeling, this is the movie for you. Candace was perfect in this role along with many others from the cast.
This was a huge step up from many of the typical Hallmark movies.
It's a 10 in my book! Definitely, a must see!
Sand Dollar Cove (2021)
Cute movie Chad and Glynnis were exceptional!
It was a great surprise to see Glynnis in this movie. I recognized her right away from "Ode to Billy Joe" and a few other of my favorite 70's movies. It was Glynis and Chad Michael Murray that held my attention in the movie. Unfortunately, the leading female character wasn't a good fit. She seemed like she wasn't into the film. Better casting for female lead would've made a huge difference in this movie. I liked her in other films, but this was not the part for her. I wanted to like her in the movie, but there was no emotion nor spark. (I hate to write anything negative about anyone) I even checked to see if maybe she was going through something that would affect her acting, but I didn't see anything.
Chad Michael Murray was perfect for the role. His charisma jumps off the screen.
On a side note, I'd love to see Robbie Benson and Glynnis in an upcoming Hallmark movie. I know, my generation would love to see them together.
Overall, cute movie.
JL Family Ranch: The Wedding Gift (2020)
Great Cast, Story and feel good movie
I LOVED IT!! A MUST SEE! Surprisingly great A list cast, feel good story, many steps up from Hallmarks typical story line. I had not seen the first one before seeing this one and I followed it easily. If you're wanting to see a great movie, you want to see this one! My top favorite movie! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!
