Relaxing
12 May 2021
It's very relaxing and also really cool to get a bird's-eye view of your favorite Star Wars landscapes. There's no story to be found here, just a nice relaxing video to put on as you fall asleep.

I got almost exactly what I expected
17 February 2021
Willy's Wonderland is a great B movie with a high production value and a comedically familiar story that drags Nicholas Cage into the middle of it. I had a lot of good laughs at how badass Nick Cage was made out to be. It follows a lot of overused horror tropes which means it's really predictable, but it's all delivered in a satisfying way.

There was plenty of "blood" and gore in the movie, but I honestly wanted it to go even further. If the animatronics made for some better fight scenes rather than "getting their asses beat" scenes, I would certainly have enjoyed it more. They teased the Willy's Wonderland mascots so much that it was a little disheartening to see a couple of them discarded so promptly while the characters had so much more to offer for the screen.

One Ghoul's Struggle...
5 January 2021
First of all I just want to say, the Steam version does include the entire show (all 5 mini-episodes; 45mins of juicy Vampire drama) for only $2. It's a steal!

The show follows the struggles of a "Ghoul" in the World of Darkness universe. For those not familiar with the dark, gothic World of Darkness universe (or Vampire the Masquerade), Ghouls are regular humans that have consumed the blood of a vampire granting them temporary minor supernatural abilities (such as rapid healing and, I believe, increased strength) and a state of euphoria.

Mike is an ordinary human with a guilty conscience who has become entangled in the nightly underground politics of vampires. He's addicted to the blood of a vampire, and he'll do anything for another taste.

It's well produced, it has an enthralling story, and it has solid acting. The only I could ask for is more episodes!

30 Years After Part 6...
5 January 2021
Vengeance is a fan film with a really cool premise: opening with the scrapped Elias Voorhees ending for Part 6 where Elias visits Jason's (empty) grave. The plot of the movie retcons everything after Part 6 and takes place 30 years later in 2019 centering on descendants of some of the survivors from the previous films. When they bring in familiar names like Henry Manfredini, CJ Graham and Steve Dash, you know they made a remarkable effort.

There are some awesome callbacks for fans of the series, but be warned: it's really cheesy... even for a Friday the 13th movie. Still, I have to recommend it!
