A Loud House Christmas (2021 TV Movie)
8/10
This was extremely cute!
29 November 2021
Aside from a few bad wigs, this Loud Christmas movie was really good...in the way that the cartoon is good! The sets were amazingly accurate and the child actor who played Lisa was eerily on point! It's comical and fun. Don't critique this as jaded adults, look upon this with the wonderment of a child.

The Prime Rib that we deserved!!!!...
27 August 2021
This movie is Prime Rib compared to Joss Whedon's chopped up pile of chub they first fed us!!!! Joss Whedon literally chewed up that movie and SPAT IT AT US.... BECAUSE HE DIDN'T GIVE A DAMN!!! Yes, this version may be long, but it is definitely worth it. So, much more is explained and there's just more depth and feeling throughout this experience! It's heartfelt, fun and gritty!

Justified (2010–2015)

Raylan Givens is fantastic..!
12 March 2011
Olyphant makes you believe in cowboys! I am really impressed with Justified. It's a very gritty and refreshing show. Raylan Givens' interactions with ex-wife, parents, old hometown--wrong doing friends and the law enforcement are engaging, humorous and dramatic. Every episode is like a gift...full of surprise and is sometimes very shocking. Just watching Raylan Givens converse with childhood nemesis Boyd Crowder is enough to hook an audience. Boyd's struggle to remain crime free and Raylan's struggle to remain within the confines of the law are so very human that you either: find yourself feeling compassion for even the most fowl of characters or you find yourself wagging your finger at the hero of the show. FANTASTIC!

Baptême (1989)

So beautiful and moving that I've searched for this movie for 10 years!

From the very first moment of this film, it felt like I was holding my breath. It was artful romantic and heart wrenching. Two lovers meet and do what is necessary to be together. They start a family and work hard to stay in love. I have to see this movie again. But, the fact that it is a true story, about director, Rene Feret's family, makes it all the more romantic. When I saw this movie, they used the title, Naissons D'Une Famille,....which is probably why I couldn't find, 'Bapteme'. I believe there's another movie by director Rene Feret called La Place D'Un Autre that is always confused with Bapteme, but they are NOT the same movie.

Superb, dramatic and heartfelt, this movie has it all. Subtitles or not, it is more than worth it to see this movie.

The Audrey Hepburn Story (2000 TV Movie)
1/10
The acting in this film was such an abomination of art!
11 November 2008
Jennifer Love Hewitt is so God awful in this film that it made me physically ill! People keep telling her that she looks a bit like Audrey Hepburn, but...THAT'S AS FAR AS THE SIMILARITIES GO! This triangle headed actress is a gawky buffoon at best and just watching her perform as Hepburn makes me want to throw things at the screen. She happened to know the right people who needed a tax break by making a bad bad tele 'version' of an extraordinary woman's life. They should be ashamed! The ONLY thing worth watching this film for would be to catch glimpses of the other actors who play the famous people intertwined in Ms. Hepburn's life. The sets were lovely and most of the time you catch yourself paying more attention to the background scenery than to Jennifer Love Hewitt and her toss of a performance! There are scores of other actresses who could have done this film a greater justice, let's hope someone else does!
