Frasier (1993–2004)
8/10
Sitcom with heart in its right place
17 October 2019
I came across "Frasier" very late but thanks to Netflix. It is one of the best sitcoms I have ever seen. The writing and acting is fabulous. My favorite are Martin and Niles Crane. The father-son relation, brother-brother relation in a kind of dysfunctional at that point family is so beautifully and delicately portrayed combined with humor. The acting of the main cast and radio station employees is awesome. I felt Frasier's romantic life track seemed repetitive and little boring. Sometimes his character goes over the top. The series need not have stretched that long. Some episodes are not effective, mostly in later seasons. Overall this can be overlooked. It's a must watch series.

Carnival Row (2019–2023)

Just Okay

I was looking forward to this series. Carnival Row is just once watchable. Not a breathtaking, engaging storyline. The production values, visuals and world building are good. Acting is decent. I watched whole series thinking that at some point it will become engaging. One can really watch but nothing great to expect.
