Good story, bad music.
12 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The title seems very shallow, but the music actually ruined the documentary.

This is an interesting and important topic and I am glad they shine a light on it.

There is an enormous problem with videotaping people without them knowing about it in South Korea. It seems demanding pictures and blackmail has become a problem to. This also speaks volumes of how woman are viewed. There should be better education about this in the country and I am happy to see they share the problem worldwide. This might help change how they act and see woman and in this case children over time. I am not saying all men are abusers, but enough are to make it a real problem.

Only thing that actually made me take breaks was the music. It was supposed to build suspense I think, but it was very stressful. I was so stressed and annoyed I had to take 5-6 breaks from watching this short documentary. Not something I usually do.

Just a very, very bad movie.

I can not believe actors that can act is so expensive you take the first ones who audition, but it seems like it.

I usually give B-horror some chances. Thinking about budget etc I don't expect much, but this is just bad through and through. The plot is ok. It could have been good. The main character is among the worst actors I have seen. He was one of those read from the script actors. The others did not blow my mind either. They are in the right category with the B flick, but of course there's always room for improvement.

I will not recommend this at all. The good grades have to be from people who knows the writer/director or some of the actors. No one with an eye for quality will give this move a good grade.

Neste sommer (2014– )

Light humor and feel good series.
6 February 2023
Norwegian film had absolutely gotten better, and this is a good example of it. Neste sommer (next summer) is a light, feel good sit-com about an extended family going back to their cabins, on the same vacation spot every summer.

This is very typical Norwegian so a lot of us can relate. Of course it's a lot of embarrassing situations all the time, mostly because Evas husband Per Ivar, while good hearted, is very clumsy and a bit proud, so he seldom asks for help even though he's not a very handy man.

Evas rich brother with a light anger management problem also makes a lot of complications with his views on life and way of being.

Put in-laws in the mix and you have complete chaos.

The script is well written and it's a series you can watch with your teenagers. I don't think small children would see the humor in this, but it's nothing you can't show them.

I have loved this sit-com all the way up till season 11. Season 11 and 12 are not as funny. They might have used up the concept or they might have script writers who are sick of the whole thing.

The loveable characters are suddenly not as charming and it's just a long series of embarrassing situations without meaning or humor. Most of it just plain lying which of course don't go well.

I would still recommend it, it's funny, a bit quirky and a way of life I am sure most Scandinavians at least will recognize.
