Aloko Udapadi (2017)
6/10
Sumptuous Vishuals, Breathtaking encounters, Stunning music, Eminent actions, flaws in directory, Drawsy plot and the hype is seriously questionable #LIGHT_AROSE

There's a lot of of talk about the recently released film Aloko Udapadi in the town. So is the hype really worth it? Lets find out! I watched this in a theatre yesterday and interestingly ended up with mixed results. First I should accede that unless the pros I've mentioned above in the summary, the film was an extreme blow. Surprisingly the film had no twist, no astonishing moments, nothing to be triumphed about. The choky and drawsy plot directly puts the writer on a stricture. I mean almost everyone in SL is aware of the story of King Walagamba. They know how it begins and how it ends. So people need something more than the basic ancient story to enjoy the film. And thats what the film lacks most. I thought that the plot will be more interesting and will has a flow in it than the boring movies made recently such as Maharaja Gemunu, Paththini etc. But unfortunately I was put down. Yet the film is a greater solace to the local audience as its quality of cinematography is at close- run with of internationals. I was impressed by the vishuals, music and the amazing fight scenes of traditional martial art, "Angampora". And it looks like the film got a tiny bit of influence from GoT! :) Eventually I hope that Aloko Udapadi will be a greater impact to the future of Sri Lankan Film Industry.

Dear Zindagi (2016)
9/10
Dear Life!
8 January 2017
With all the high expectations I watched Dear Zindagi and here's how it went. Let's put it straight. The movie was going nowhere in the very first hour. It felt like a plot less and boring one. Throughout the film even SRK was a co- actor I felt like that Alia was under-shadowed by him. He was, as always actually brilliant. Alia wasn't so devoted to the character she was playing. She failed to pervade herself into Kaira. But then the twist took place. I cannot remember when I watched a film soothing as this in my recent past. It was so appeasing and will gladden your mind. Eventually Dr.Jug will help you to look through your life again from a different perspective. - ----"DON'T LET THE PAST BLACKMAIL YOUR PRESENT TO RUIN A BEAUTIFUL FUTURE!"-----
