Black Comedy, not for everyone

This is Austrias must-see Christmas movie for the last 20+ years. In my family, we live it so much that we quote it like Goethe.

Celebrated in Austria for its black humour, the horrible characters (each in their own way) and its honest depiction of the worst Christmas ever, I'm not surprised that an international audience would not necessarily appreciate it.

This is the only reason why this movie can only have a 7.something rating. Absolute cult! ❤

We Children from Bahnhof Zoo (2021)

Underrated by those who only watched the beginning

The bad reviews are really not fair.

This is a new interpretation with a timeless feel, and indeed it starts off way to glossy. But as things get more serious for the kids, the show gets better and better... the story lost nothing of its intensity and I personally could not watch it before going to sleep.

Heroes Don't Die (2019)

Bad reviewers don't understand this movie

This movie is about creating a bizarre situation (Joachim thinks he is a re-incarnated war criminal) and then explores the border between real deep feelings and ridiculousness with the story that evolves... and also the "empty" lives of the young generation in relation to the interrupted, but full lives of the elder Bosniaks.

It's been a long time since I've seen something so mind-opening... thanks a lot for this movie.
