Red Rose of Normandy (2011)
It is a good movie with a lot of story
I have to say I do not feel the rough critique of this film justified. Sure it is an Indie film and not of a million dollar budget. but they put a lot of effort into it, a lot of historic facts and nice war scenes, The tanks and guns were real not a lot of fake CGI and they made a serious effort here. Seriously give them some credit for all the tanks planes and guns they put together. I truly enjoyed it and watched it several times, there are some really good points to it, and the acting was solid on all parts. And as film fans we should acknowledge those of smaller budgets not just run them over because they did not have a studio budget.
Code 207 (2011)
A good little action film with humor
I have to say I do not feel the rough critique of this film justified. Sure it is an Indie film and not of a million dollar budget. but they put effort it to it. The story line is fine but certainly they needed a bigger budget to pull it all off, ambitious but if you don't try right. The banter between the two leads, Tiffany and jack is actually pretty funny, so they did it with humor and some decent fights real guns and a solid bad guy. We cant knock them for the budget, they had what they had and made the best of it, for a indie film it is pretty good. And in 10 years some studio will see it and the people in it and do a million dollar remake to do it justice.
Brothers War (2009)
Great film must see

And of all the war films I have seen this is absolutely one of the better ones. The Last Rescue (2015)
OK movie a little slow though
It is sad it really seems they had what they needed to make it good, but waaay to much talk and waaaay to predictable we have seen and heard every scene before. A shame the cast was pretty good and I will agree with Weller the German Officer played by Tino Struckmann did a great job, I saw him in other war films before. It would have been a better movie if they had made him the lead villain, at least he can carry a movie. The guy they god couldn't sell water in Africa. It was OK made but definitely left me wanting a lot more. The film feels like it was written by somebody who just patched scenes from other war film together, with no understanding of what war fans want to see. And what the hell with the 5 min opening montage I nearly walked away on that alone?!
Ardennes Fury (2014)
Well it is OK but could have been a lot better..
I was never a fan of those bad CGI effects they always use in the SciFi movies and did not know is was them who made this movie. so now it makes sense. Thank you for clearing that up Marchus, it was pretty damn bad. The lead GI and the girl in distress were awful actors, I expect they never did any acting before but were cheap. But I do agree the lead Evil German officer did a great job, I even watched the making of the movie and honestly they should just have made it all with him. Solid actor who seem to work over hard to carry this film. Fighting his way up stream against the bad CGI was an impossibly task for Struckmann. Give him something in a bigger role in bigger films and leave the rest as extras.
